Ive always like the buells, but I'd probably skip getting one at this point due to parts availability. That mon...

Re: Your Last Purchase

What is that Prince CD, and what store beckons from far away Burbank? That Prince cd is called "Originals" and came out a month or two ago. It's a compilation of 15 mostly unreleased original versions of songs he did for other artists like Nothing Compares 2 U, Manic Monday and The Glamorous Life. ...

Your Last Purchase

So, I have been hearing some songs recently that 30+ years ago are taking me right back to a time that seems like someone else, but also with acute recollections of specific times (and frames of mind) where I was listening. Lately, it's been bumming me out...the reasons aren't important, at least he...

Re: Now Watching...

Watched this doc yesterday...very interesting. But I really don't think anyone involved feels accountable. I'm glad they helped in the end, but it felt like they did because they were caught. iX8GxLP1FHo So weird, I watched this yesterday as well. It was fairly scarey...it revealed the most* recent...

Re: Donald Trump running for President.

That's not unfunny. I followed NS for a long time (he has two Goldens), and anytime he mentioned trump a large percentage of his fans lost their minds. I imagine TL will get similar treatment.

We're less than 5% of the world's population and we own over 40% of the guns (statistically)....more as we don't track them. Carry on! Nothing to see here :eyes:

Re: 74 School Shootings in 18 Months

I read something that struck a chord with me, even if it’s just a effectist phrase: Sandy Hook was a key moment in US history, when American society accepted by default that dozens of dead children is still a fair price to pay for ‘gun freedom.’ Unfortunately, Sandy Hook wasn't transformative. It wa...

Re: 74 School Shootings in 18 Months

I am completely impervious to it now. Sandy Hook really changed me, and I thought it would change the disposition of the people of this country with respect to common sense legislation. No. Stephen Paddock was an undeniable marker of the American nature of it all. White, upper middle class, educated...

Re: 74 School Shootings in 18 Months

They're not good points, though I understand why KV is making them. For one thing, the "laws punish responsible people" is either applicable to all laws that require consideration or constraints on all of us, or it isn't. If it is, then this is effectively an argument for anarchy (which is self-def...

Back row it is...sat down next to this has been/never was couple (even older than I am). The lady's denim is dra...
