Re: Movies or "the breakdown of jasper"

I thought Deadpool was a fantastic comedy. It’s also R-rated, which works well for the movie. That would be the one I’d recommend if you don’t watch superhero movies.

Logan was a good drama as well. X-Men, but I’m guessing it still counts.

Re: Movies or "the breakdown of jasper"

I think 6/10 is for a movie that’s decent on its own, but it’s far from being incredible or a film classic. 7 is a good movie, 8 is like “this was really good”, 9 is an incredible feat of cinema and 10 is a bloody masterpiece. And yeah, I can see how you wouldn’t have enjoyed it as much if you hadn’...

Went to see Endgame last night. Thoroughly entertaining and bladder-challenging. It felt like a fantastic ending for the saga.

6/10

A big company bought 1/4 of the block right in front of my flat. I can expect demolitions and the construction of a 20+ floored building any day now.

Re: Pineapple on pizza

I like it.

A suggestion if you want to try something new on any pizza: eat it with mashed avocado on top.

Re: TGEA in Retrospect...

It’s an alright, forgettable album. It’s a very lame and uncool rock album. It’s a disgraceful Jane’s Addiction album. Personally, I sort of like/withstand Underground, End to the Lies and Ultimate Reason. But there are songs that make me unreasonably angry, like Splash a Little Water on it and Word...

Re: Perry Farrell oficially releases the first single of Kind Heaven

It’s no secret that 60% of Perry’s lyrics involve counting forwards, counting backwards and/or saying “here we go!”

Re: Perry Farrell oficially releases the first single of Kind Heaven

Wow... I mean, Chile only has two Nobel recipients, so this could be a ‘big recognition,’ which is weird considering it’s Perry. And on the other hand, Lollapalooza in Chile has become a festival like no other before. Three days of stuff, plenty of people go, and the event moves a whole lot of money...

Re: Movies or "the breakdown of jasper"

I watched “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” last night and thought it was fantastic. The animation was unlike anything I’ve ever seen, the story was engaging, the message was sweet, all the characters felt real. I really enjoyed it. I kind of wish I had seen it in 3D. Completely recommended. 7.5/10.

I gave their show in the Pyramids a go, and it was a bore. Dreadful, lame... I don’t know who their target audience is anymore.

Re: Now Watching...

I gave Ricky Gervais’ ‘After Life’ a go last night and couldn’t go past the first episode. Everything was so lame and on-the-nose, it really was embarrassingly bad.

I highly recommend skipping it.
