Re: oooof
Perry sounds decent enough but he really should stop bringing Etty to the party. She adds absolutely nothing to this performance (unlike for instance Mariqueen on NIN's cover of Fashion) and as always her "dancing" looks ridiculous.

Re: Dave plays on the new NIN EP
How funny would it be if Eric was supposed to be in NIN, but it ended up being Dave? :noclue: It would be cool to see Dave tour with NIN, would be the most interesting thing he did musically in a long time. But I don't think Reznor is the easiest guy to work for, so I'm not sure of Dave would be up...

Re: Perry and Dave Ritual Track by Track Commentary
Conan O'Brien still uses Slash's face for URLs. As much as I love JA, the cultural awareness of GnR is an order of magnitude higher, the precious few references to Dave Navarro in pop culture not withstanding (there's a good one in a Star Wars episode of Family Guy where the old pedophile guy gets ...

I used to love Arcade Fire, but they've gone of in a direction I really don't care for

Saw them last monday in Amsterdam. They put one one hell of a show! Dulli may have gained a liite weight but he's still a great singer and wonderful entertainer.
Like Janesbiggestfan already mentioned, he's basically everything that Perry isn't these days.

weird dream I had
So, last night I had a very strange dream...
I dreamt I was at a Jane's gig. As a surprise they decided to do cover of Prince's Purple Rain.
Perry obviously butchered it, but Dave nailed the solo perfectly.
So yeah....

I'm with Larry on this one! I loved season 1! Really loved it. The scene where Bob comes from behind the couch is the scariest thing I've ever seen. And the scene where Leland kills Madeleine, oh man ... Then all the different characters, all the crazy shit, the friendly giant, the owls are not wha...

Did I miss anything? Besides not being asked for the HoF did something happen there which would have pissed Navarro off?

Re: Live shows in your agenda?
Went to see Bruce Springsteen this weekend. As expected, an awesome show. He played for almost 3 1/2 hours, including some obscure songs and all of Darkness on the Edge of Town. A lot of artists could learn a thing a thing or two from The Boss

Been listening a lot to "Specter at the Feast", the new Black Rebel Motorcycle Club album. Another solid album by this great band and one of the best albums of this year so far (in my opinion of course). With the exception of "Sometimes the Light", there isn't a weak track on it. Love the cover of T...

Maybe, but it's another change. I like what they're doing... they could easily take Ted out one night and put Then She Did or Pigs into that spot. Keep going Janes! Yeah, it indeed looks really promising. So I really hope they are gonna tour Europe soon, and than hopefully also small clubs and no f...
