And the thing is, I take zero issue with maximizing profitability. Do yo thang boys. But be fucking honest about it. And be consistent in your supposed ethos. Frauds.

Re: RATM

I think it's 125 for all with the exception of the charity tix held back for that purpose. Nose bleed tix are likely all that's left a minute after the initial offering. It doesn't seem like a great deal to me, but I would never go to a show in nose bleeds either. They seem to be creative in their ...

Re: Democratic Presidential Campaign 2020

Oh don't worry, I dont see Bloomberg going anywhere.

If he is lucky he'll get a couple delegates. And if DNC chooses him in Milwaukie, the whole city would blow up in protests by Bernie people....

I think just to a greater degree than when they choose Biden as the compromise..

The nonsectarian socialist likes money.... :noclue: I would be curious to know if these increase fees goes to the workers supporting the shows, through more benevolent contracts and vendors. Or just the profit margins of the band. Charity is good, but more beneficial contracts for workers is even be...

Re: Democratic Presidential Campaign 2020

I dont normally watch these "debates".....yeeesh! That was awful! I kept shouting, never squibble! Rule #1 of persuasion! All they were missing was Jerry Springer. I about imagined someone missing coming out from the audience with a folding chair chasing a candidate around the room... :lo...

Re: What's annoying you today?

Okay, I don't know why this is pissing me off so much. But I decided to get in the "waiting list" line for the Cruel World fest and now they will charge you $289 per tickets for the GA if one happens to become available. I got out of line. https://lyte.com/cruelworld/Cruel-World-114498/buy/to_ticke...

Re: Predictions....

the system seems to be holding for the most part. Barely. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/02/14/us/politics/trump-william-barr.html If Ginsberg dies in the near future (which is totally possible), the Supreme Court is fucked, and it's unclear how bad this will get for challenges to previous court deci...

Re: Predictions....

If the choice is Trump vs. Bloomberg, probably Bloomberg would be better for the future of the nation, since he doesn't seem to have the same unfettered, stupid, authoritarian streak Trump does. Plus it would avoid emboldening the worst elements of the Republican party into thinking the destructive...

Re: Predictions....

I still think it will be Reagan like. It will depend on the Third party component though. Bloomberg or Bernie going rogue.

With Biden and Bernie pissed/cheated and not running third party and Bloomberg out, not running third.
That is going to be really really rough.....

Re: Predictions....

I agree Bloomberg would likely be worse than Trump. He has WAY more wealth and connections to leverage wealth. Trump is actually "poor" in that respect. His wealth is just slimy and continues a bad precedent, not groundbreaking penetrative like Bloomberg's wealth. He is really really rich and connec...

Re: Predictions....

I think Bloomberg will fade pretty quickly (come back to earth with 7-8% support) after the debate and some "real" campaigning. Watching him in early 2000s debate is a pretty dry and uninspiring affair. Also he is short, deal breaker for a ton of people. He can't just ride on the coattails of his bo...

Re: Predictions....

Bernie will never support Biden or Bloomberg for president.

He is going (already had) full populist... Start at 1:30 :tiphat:

Sanders/Biden/Bloomberg not have enough electoral votes by the convention. Biden will be the "compromise" candidate. Chaos... Yadda yadda....
