St. Louis with an NBA team, that would be awesome.
Sadly I'm not sure it would work. This is a pretty uptight, catholic community. Exactly why MLS is a no brainer here, and why baseball is so huge.

Re: NBA

I wish St. Louis or KC had a basketball team. Indy is only 3.5 hours away. I'd adopt the Pacers but I don't want to have to subscribe to something to watch the games. I'm definitely going to start driving to some games once the pandemic is over.

Re: Coronavirus

Got my first dose today- hooray! I was expecting to get Astra Zenica because of my age(under 60) but got Pfizer. My appointment was at a hospital clinic and they don't use AZ there. The person who vaccinated me said that the AZ was being used in community clinics and pharmacies. There's been a lot ...

Re: I was wondering what you consider as the best non-JA album

His work with QOTSA is fantastic as well. I saw them front row at Lolla 03. Lanegan standing stock still singing Hanging Tree in the dusty, hot and hazy afternoon sun is one of my favorite concert memories. Jealous you saw them play Hangin Tree. That lineup with Lanegan and Oliveri is on par with o...

Re: Coronavirus

I can't imagine any reality where it made more sense to immunize younger people first, except for those forced to work in conditions conducive to spread, simply because they're too irresponsible to stop the spread themselves. Although, if you raised your kids so poorly that they're out at night club...

Sure you can, just smoke it! Never give up on your dreams :lolol:
Heh, the thing is, I hate smoking too. I've never even smoked a joint despite my best friend being a serious pothead and roommate off and on through my 20's.
Please tell me you've at least had edibles then?

I feel the exact opposite...I really wanted the two shot it's almost 30% more effective at preventing covid :noclue: And like 10% better at serious covid prevention...and since you can still pass it to those without the vaccine..seems a no brainer...well at least people are getting what they wanted...

Re: Coronavirus

Today is 2 weeks after my 2nd dose.

No symptoms after shot 1 (Moderna). Awful, Awful flu like symptoms for 24 hours after shot 2. I couldn't get out of bed.

However, very, very happy to be fully vaccinated.

Re: I was wondering what you consider as the best non-JA album

"Dust" by Screaming Trees. I know it is a highly unpopular opinion but ST was as close to my music heart as JA. In case you have never heard about them or managed to forget. Screaming Trees is an American rock band from the genre known in the early 1990s as grunge. The band was formed in 1985 in El...

It's very simple,
take the timeline of everything they have produced since 92 until now,

and it's all downhill, year after year.
Pretty spot on. Although I think GGU is better than P4P or Decon. But it was all pretty good until the aughts.

Re: Can anybody upload the Deconstruction album?

I'm the only here who thinks Deconstruction is overrated af, right? I’m 50/50 on it, but I LOVE the good half. This. There are parts of it that are as musically close to a classic era Jane's album as it gets. Then there are parts I have zero desire to listen to. But God. Iris? I mean, it's Jane's A...

His kids are 16 and 18? The last I saw of them (I think on a private jet), they appeared to be pre-teen. And it always strikes me that only a degenerate father continues to completely ignore a third of his kids
I'm always disappointed that Jobel seems to be completely ignored in this man's life.

What about a Porno for Pyros box set?
No just wait, he can't do that. Nope.
He would have to split the profits with other people. I'm assuming he owns the Psi Com rights exclusively or he wouldn't have included it.

Re: The glitz: the glamour

I bought it and, aside from the price, am happy to have it in the collection. I've only spun Songs Yet to Be Sung so far, and was reminded how much I liked the album. I'll dig into the book over the coming weeks, though it isn't really a memoir-- more a collection of cool pictures with brief captio...

No. They're idiots. Stafford isn't Championship caliber, and they gave up waaaaay too much.
