Maybe because he is happier in PFP. He is kind of shining again, for the first time in a long time. JA shows are hit and miss. Even like, 3/4 of the 09 shows, kind of sucked. I was lucky to see a good ones, but then a bad one, too. Maybe he finally decided/figured out that he doesn’t need the dough…...

That happened, one time when I saw Flaming Lips, in Florida. It was 2006, I think? I chatted with Steven, for just a couple minutes. I mentioned a show I had seen, in Pali Alto, a little while after the PFP tour, like 1993-1994? He said he remembered it? I don’t know…?

I bought the shirt, with the city burning, on it. Wore it until about 10 years ago, maybe?

Wow, that was about 30 years ago! I went the SF shows, on that same tour w/ Flaming Lips. I think about the shows a lot, but I haven’t thought about the actual time passed, in a while…
