Re: Coronavirus

Got my first dose today- hooray! I was expecting to get Astra Zenica because of my age(under 60) but got Pfizer. My appointment was at a hospital clinic and they don't use AZ there. The person who vaccinated me said that the AZ was being used in community clinics and pharmacies. There's been a lot o...

Re: Coronavirus

Another 4 wk stay at home order effective from midnight tonight. On the plus side, the vaccine eligibility has FINALLY expanded. My postal code is in an area with a higher infection rate which makes me eligible. I have an appointment on Saturday for 1st dose. It'll be the AstraZeneca/COVISHIELD one.

Re: What new(can be old band ) music are you digging

Digging the new St Vincent so far. Loving the 70s sound, probably because it's familiar and comforting;it was the background music of my childhood. Lately, I have been revisiting a lot of 70s music so am enjoying this sound for Annie Clark. I read that the the album was inspired by her father'...

Re: Now Watching...

I just finished watching the first season Shtisel last night on Netflix- loved it! I don't know how badly the translation has been butchered but, I think the excellent acting makes up for that. The trailer isn't all that great and may not entice some to watch. I do think it's worth giving a try. The...

Gonna miss Gary Trent. He's been playing great. His dad was a blazer too.
His dad was a Raptor too..lol. For the Raps, Jr is going to wear his dad's number 33. Anyway, he was cleared and will be playing tonight against Phoenix.
Norm was cleared to start tonight for the Orlando game.

Happy tp hear that so many of you and your families have been vaccinated or will be soon. I finally got an appointment for my 83 year old mother next week. The second dose isn't until July! I'm just going to put this here because I don't want to start a separate thread.

WTF, Andrew Cuomo?? The cover-up about the nursing home deaths and now 6 women have come forward with sexual harassment complaints. So disappointing.

Has anybody watched Ted Lasso? :noclue: Pretty fun fish out of water show, American football coach in england managing a premier league football club. Yes, I watched it! I really liked it. What do you guys think of Blake Griffin going to the Nets? Will he make much of a difference? I think it was an odd trade. He may have been good at one point in his career, but these days he doesn't seem to have much to offer, imo. :noclue: :

Utah in the finals or what??

Re: Coronavirus

Today I pre-registered my mother to get a vaccine at the hospital close to her house. The pre-reg is not an appointment, but a queue to make an appointment. She should know when her appointment is in the next two weeks. The PM announced that two million Canadians have been vaccinated and 500, 000 do...
