Re: Dave Navarro to Host Spike TV's Inkmaster
I don't mind this either. The guy is talented for these kind of things i think dave has horrible tattoos. i'm not a fan of just random tattoos all over people. i guess prefer wen they all tie together somehow. around the time of the relapse tour he had some of the coolest and original and tasteful ...

Re: Smashing Pumpkins Theater Tour Dates
Listening to old Pumpkins (pre mellon collie) always makes me to sad to get in to new pumpkins. It just cant compare. Mayonaise and Drown are as good as rock music gets. This is the truth. The new stuff just doesn't add up. Billy needs to keep his ego in check. I don't get that criticism at all, wh...

is that right? Pretty surprising to me because they have that big catalogue of great songs and was a huge band in the 90's.creep wrote:i'm not sure they could play bigger places than theaters at this point.

Re: John Frusciante Thread
Don't get me wrong. I love his work with RHCP and for me that's the classic lineup and there's something special about those four guys playing together. I could see though after SA that he kind of put a lid on RHCP for him. That album is so much John and it's a ton of material. He's not into being ...

I'd love to have the Chili Peppers' Mother's milk tracks, but I don't think they're outthere except for the songs Higher ground and knock me down i've looked all over for the "higher ground" multi's but never found them, i think i had "knock me down" at one point but its not in my collection anymor...

that depends on what their objective is. If it's to win the ANR forum over they do need to take risks but if it's to appeal more to the masses they need to play it safe with catchy songs like Irresistable ForceJasper wrote:They need to take big risks.

Re: Irresistible Force
My main problem with it is it sounds like it has no teeth This is exactly it. It's too safe. Things with no teeth just suck  It's OK I guess, which is all we could really expect... it's not as 'dangerous' or whatever as Whores but it's a lot better than I had hoped for and better than what a ...

Re: The future of Eric Avery with Jane's Addiction
BTW, Rollins is the same guy who publicly ridiculed Jane's and Perry in 1990. A year later, he was worshipping Jane's, kissing Perry's ass, and thanking him for launching his career into the big leagues. didn´t know that. What a punk. for doing that I mean. I still like a lot of his music a lot. Ge...

Re: Irresistible Force
I think IF is another great example of how good Perry is at coming up with cool vocal melodies/ideas. If you listen to the first minute of it lots of singers wouldn't have been able to create anything interesting on top of it cause the music is not that exciting. Perry may be a sellout and annoying ...

Re: The future of Eric Avery with Jane's Addiction
I think there comes a time in the not so distant future where especially Perry and Eric are too old to be in Jane's addiction, in like five years or so and I hope they both realize it then too. You can't play a song like Whores when you're 58 or something. Not in my book anyway. But I don't think th...
