Re: Live shows in your agenda?

My wife and I saw Willie Nile last night on a Rock N River cruise in Annapolis. Limited size so the audience was small. Pulled-pork BBQ sandwiches, ftw!!!

Willie Nile is just a fun entertainer. Not amazing or anything. But you'll have fun.

I must really love my state b/c I think we have the best flag in the country.
I guess you'd have to visit here to understand. Most people think it's still the 1700's. :agree:

Re: 2012 U.S. Presidential Polls Thread

I told my wife a few weeks ago... when Perry was doing his big first official "look at me" speech/debate/whatever... "honey, that's the next president of the US." I hope to god I'm wrong but my gut usually is correct. He's what the far right want. Smooth talkin, Jesus freak who talks shit about Dems...

I'm not talking about Kerry or incumbent elections.

IMO, apples to apples... I think Perry vs Obama is equivalent to Bush vs Gore.

I dunno dude... Bush won a tight race vs gore. I see Perry using the same "religious right" tactics.
It could be tight.

Re: Hurricane Irene

Yeah, they initially feared MD would get flooded just like we did when hurricane Isabel hit us. Isabel was further west so the east side of the storm pushed the water/tide up the Chesapeake Bay. It was well ovver 11ft above sea level. Turns out the opposite happened with Irene which was further east...

It's not how I felt 3 years ago but in hindsight, Hillary would have been better.

Obama is more a victim of circumstance... however, he's still too soft.

Re: Rick Perry on the Economy

I think the Dem's need to ditch Biden as VP and put Hillary Clinton on the ticket. We need someone with a set of balls to get Washington moving. Hillary has no problems being aggressive. Honestly... I think she would have been a better choice for pres. I think Obama is too soft and is trying too har...

Re: Sonny just re-uploaded the Eric Avery interview

Sonny didn't owe anyone anything and wasn't obligated to do anything either. I don't think he did any "dick moves" on anyone. I think everyone needs to get over it. Anyone that cared significantly about the loose community the bored had have already made it over to this new site. What more could any...

Rock on, Tony. No one will ever suspect you're ghey.

I'm currently reading a book called Moby Duck. (go get it, it's funny and educational about the plastics industry of China.)

If I was a betting man... I'd say it is from China. They say in the article that it's not man-made. I don't buy it.

I'm forced to suffer through this show. Season 1 was hilarious, especially when Jason Stackhouse was a bumbling idiot. Now his character is becoming too serious.
