Re: Watch Candiria offshoot Spylacopa’s video for Jane’s Addiction offshoot Deconstruction

Really good. I thought it’s about a minute too long, but other than that, really good.

I’ve always thought those 3 albums are just different remixes for Jane Says and BCS.

Just finished series 4 of The Crown. Really good, although a bit weaker than previous seasons. Anderson was magnificent, truly outstanding.

Re: 40 years ago today...

It’s quite odd, because I was born in 1984 but I have the memory of watching like a special TV program where people were shocked that Lennon had died; it must’ve been a special after 10 years of his death or something. I vividly remember feeling sad and thinking Imagine was beautiful, as it was play...

I just want to say “thanks”. Your songs have helped me realise that the bands I played in when I was 22 weren’t that bad. I should be more thankful for that.

Re: Coronavirus

My workplace has given us access to 2 quick tests so far, and I’ve thankfully been negative in both (I went back to work about 2-3 months ago.) My wife is being forced back to work this week, for completely unnecessary reasons. Also, her workplace is full of old-ish people. I think it’s rather curio...

Re: Santiago under curfew

We fucking won: 79% vs 21%. The option to NOT scrap the constitution only won in 3 communes, the exact communes where everyone knows the power is concentrated. The wealthiest communes by far, where everyone from the top 0.01% lives. It's amazing. It's a small step for this young country, but a very ...

Re: Santiago under curfew

Went to vote, and it was beautiful.

Early reports suggest that the turnout is going to be ridiculously high.

We already have the referendum results for New Zealand, Australia and Japan, with an 87%+ result for a New Constitution.

Re: Santiago under curfew

There are two options: “constitutional convention” or “mixed council.” A constitutional convention would mean that there would be a specific election to pick these representatives. Quotas are still being discussed, but a gender quota and a native people’s quotas are expected to pass. Basically, anyo...

Re: Santiago under curfew

In other news, in about 40 days we will vote as to whether we want a new constitution (this vote is predicted to be a landslide for YES) and whether we want it to be written by politicians + a group of elected or only by elected representatives. After having this referendum postponed due to covid-1...

Re: What made your day today?

You people have really big fucking houses! We recently bought a flat of our own here in Santiago. We are currently repairing it, as the previous owners rented it to some really disgusting people. Hopefully, we'll move around January 2021. It's in a nice part of town and one of the good things is tha...

I was in Turkey :hs: vacation???? Yeah! We went for about two weeks and visited Istanbul, Pamukkale and Urfa (so we could visit Gobekli Tepe.) It was really, really good. So much better than what I expected. I think it was the first time that I visited a place that much different from what I’m used...

Traffik Island - Possible sample of Dave's version of "The Bed"?

Have a listen to the beginning of this:

And here's Dave's 'The Bed:'

I'd be 99% positive that it's a sample. What do you think?

By the way, anybody knows Traffik Island? It just popped up on my Spotify out of nowhere.

As an experiment in style, it’s alright.

The singer must be banished from the continent. He hasn’t got ONE talent and should be nowhere near this project.

Re: Can anybody upload the Deconstruction album?

Thank you! I remember chatting via ICQ with one member of the JA community back in the day, possibly around 1998-2000... I can't remember who it was, it could've easily been Creep or Hoka. Anyway, I was in my sort of early stages of loving Jane's, and they hit me with Big Sur and then Iris, and it o...

Can anybody upload the Deconstruction album?

Please! My CD is in storage and I don't even have a CD-enabled device anyway...

I haven't listened to it properly in ages (only through YouTube) and I'd really like to have it back. I deleted it by mistake from my phone.

Thanks in advance :nyrexall:
