That sounds horrible!

I used to love Arcade Fire, but they've gone of in a direction I really don't care for

Re: Afghan Whigs is back first new album in 16 years

Saw them last monday in Amsterdam. They put one one hell of a show! Dulli may have gained a liite weight but he's still a great singer and wonderful entertainer.
Like Janesbiggestfan already mentioned, he's basically everything that Perry isn't these days.

weird dream I had

So, last night I had a very strange dream...

I dreamt I was at a Jane's gig. As a surprise they decided to do cover of Prince's Purple Rain.
Perry obviously butchered it, but Dave nailed the solo perfectly.

So yeah.... :bored:

I'm with Larry on this one! I loved season 1! Really loved it. The scene where Bob comes from behind the couch is the scariest thing I've ever seen. And the scene where Leland kills Madeleine, oh man ... Then all the different characters, all the crazy shit, the friendly giant, the owls are not wha...

Did I miss anything? Besides not being asked for the HoF did something happen there which would have pissed Navarro off?

Re: Live shows in your agenda?

Went to see Bruce Springsteen this weekend. As expected, an awesome show. He played for almost 3 1/2 hours, including some obscure songs and all of Darkness on the Edge of Town. A lot of artists could learn a thing a thing or two from The Boss

BRMC

Been listening a lot to "Specter at the Feast", the new Black Rebel Motorcycle Club album. Another solid album by this great band and one of the best albums of this year so far (in my opinion of course). With the exception of "Sometimes the Light", there isn't a weak track on it. Love the cover of T...

Maybe, but it's another change. I like what they're doing... they could easily take Ted out one night and put Then She Did or Pigs into that spot. Keep going Janes! Yeah, it indeed looks really promising. So I really hope they are gonna tour Europe soon, and than hopefully also small clubs and no f...

Re: Per Perry Tweet - First tour dates late February

I'll go if they come to Europe for a normal tour, not just a couple of big cities like London and Madrid and that's it then, just like the Ninja tour I've got a feeling it won't be the JA tour of the 90's in the UK. One city a night, nah, don't think they're up for it. I don't even think they can s...

if anyone was going to go, The Joy Formidable and The Naked & Famous are still playing the show without Jane's, and it's now a free show. Both bands are amazing, and highly worth seeing. I so wish i was in Las Vegas right now. The Joy Formidable are awesome. Huge sounding neo-shoegaze with strong p...

Just bought Kettle Whistle secondhand for seven euros. Enjoyable album, but nothing really special. I was surprised though to find out that film composer Harry Gregson-Williams (last couple of Tony Scott films, Kingdom of Heaven, Shrek to name a few) produced the new tracks on it and that those were...
