Re: Stephen Perkins: "I think we're peaking now"

unlimited time still produced a mediocre record. i expect nothing but positivity from perk, though. can't fault him for that. some dudes just can't get along. i doubt that jane's with Eric would've made anything decent together no matter how much time they had. if you don't get along or respect eac...

Re: Underground video premieres Jan 25th on VEVO

2012 promises to be another big year for alterna-rock legends Jane's Addiction. Starting Feb. 22, the band will promote its latest album, 'The Great Escape Artist,' with the "Theatre of the Escapist" tour that will take them to a series of intimate venues, sticking to classic theaters whenever possi...

Set list disclaimer

*Set list for these shows is the same; however, show presentation may be slightly different due to logistical reasons with these venues, as these shows are not in theatres.

Re: Estimated first week sales for The Great Escape Artist

What hurt the sales was most people on itunes were buying the deluxe double cd (with the live show).. these sales are not included when the final sales figures are released. The two are treated as seperate albums... Hmmmm, are you sure about that? So where do we get the figures for the deluxe versi...

A posh hot wife, eh? You have truly lost it, my good sir. I meant posh as in elegant/upper class. And yes, the average dude would think she is "hot". I just don't like the person Perry has become (since he met Etty, really). When I hear him sing the old songs now, they don't ring true; it's a...

Re: Jane's on Letterman

Perry always looks so uncomfortable on TV. His silver trenchcoat was cool in an Epcot Center/ Catain EO way. The song was eh. Why the backing chorus?? Because he can't hit the notes. You notice in the verses that he doesn't even try to approximate the melody from the recorded track. He needs some s...

dave's bad place and freaky new tattoos and crying during recording were cause of pot and beer? No, Dave was definitely using again. But isn't Perry clean these days? And I'm sure Stephen pretty much always was. I thought we were talking about writing lyrics (Perry), not the actual music (Dave)...?...

Tracks 1-3 and 6-11 are credited to: P. Farrell, D. Navarro, S. Perkins and E. Re: Strays or The Great Escape Artist?

I like Strays, but The Great Escape Artist just seems like more of an album, like Six7Six7 said. Strays pretty much just has that balls to the walls sound for the entire album, and while there are some strong songs, the album lacks diversity. The Great Escape Artist is very textured album. There ar...
