Re: English Football
And now it's official: Manchester United has no moderately reliable defensive midfielder. Jones could fill in, but that would mean that pairing Vidic with Smalling and placing Rafael on the right would be the ONLY choice. If one of them is injured or suspended, the only alternative is stupid fuckin...

Re: New Cars
I have a four year old Mazda 3. You have to be careful what you buy in the UK these days as Gas costs £1.32 ($2) a litre for unleaded. Diesel is about $2.18 a litre!

Re: This is about Nirvana a debate if you will
He said that he was tired of the soft-loud-soft formula of Nirvana, and wanted to write songs that didn't use that template. He was longing to do other things, musically, and wanted to make stuff more along the lines of R.E.M. - but he didn't know if his current band was capable of it. Do you think...

Re: A poignant article
SR, I know you've had some terrible losses of late and I thought I may have been a bit insensitive talking about death. If people do get a chance, then watch that documentary. It basically tells the story of Terry Pratchett who has got early Alzheimer's and he speaks to two men who go to Dignitas in...

Re: A poignant article
Kind of leads me to post this great documentary made by Terry Pratchett. http://vimeo.com/25239708 I can't remember if this subject of assisted suicide has been talked about before on here, but the documentary is excellent and moving in places. I think it's too much of a taboo subject and I just wis...

Top 5 regrets in life for those about to die. 1. I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me This was the most common regret of all. When people realize that their life is almost over and look back clearly on it, it is easy to see how many dreams have...

1-6 in the Manchester derby, out of the Champions League and out of the Carling Cup... holy shitters. Seriously, these players better grow some balls. I'd bet $20 Evra leaves Manchester United next season. Maybe even Ferguson... you know, leaving after somewhat of a low season could be better for t...

Yes. Let's get back to the fact that they think we're in the 15 century, but we all know we're not. So they're in with Columbus discovering America in 1492 whilst we're in 2011 discovering a planet 600 light years away who think we still have Da Vinci painting masterpieces.

My dads grandmother's uncle was Congolese. Unless he knocked up your dad's grandmother, you're still an average UK citizen...  He might have done, IN MY IMAGINATION :hehe:  Anyway, I'm not 100% English. My mother is French and my dad's Welsh so where does that put me? :dunce:
