I just doubled my son's age. Took him to the NINJA show in NY after many years of my hyping the original lineup. He was conceived the weekend I was introduced to NS. Thank you all for this introspective thread.

He was a little hard to hear in the mix but was hitting and sustaining notes pretty damn well!

I was at the first Hammerstein relapse show in NYC Oct 30th. Does anyone know if MTV taped both the 30th and the 31st or if there was a substantial difference between the nights? My memory was the 30th was magical and perfect. Having only the 31st show video of the "MTV Live at the 10 Spot" I believ...

I was convinced to go with the special $15 lawn ticket (today only) for Holmdel NJ Aug 17th. The price includes live nation fees.

i thought flea kinda sucked in janes .. finger plucking sounds like ass on janes songs .. and they didn't even play the thumpers like idiots rule .. i enjoyed the remake of kettle .. flea did good on that and if they continued they could have made an interesting record .. so what was kinda lame .. ...

No order, but I felt the great classic energy on these and overall it was another really great NYC crowd show!

Perry sounded incredible! Dave had solos on ocean and three days and stop that blew my mind, it was in inconsistent show but a hair raiser! Scary, fucked up Jane's show... there you go!

But perry can't sing very well anymore... Makes me sad I want to love the shows, he's hit or miss...I still have a good time but it always seems just out of his reach...Am I being too harsh?

At the end of the day so to speak, people tend to regret the things they DIDN'T do....I'm glad I've seen all the shows I've been to since 91. I may bitch with the best of em,... but shit...a nice buzz and a Janes show =
