Re: What are you reading?

I was a big Steven King fan when I was young but had never read the dark tower series. When the movie was coming out i decided I should read the books. Had no idea what I was getting myself into at the time. I just finished the last of the original 7 books. Something like 4000 pages. Now that the mo...

Re: What's annoying you today?

Months turned to weeks and my stepdad passed away Friday morning.
He wasn't ill long and died peacefully so all things considered it could have been much worse.
RIP Olaf :wavesad:

Re: What's annoying you today?

Thank you. He was diagnosed last night but he's been in the hospital about a week and we kind of figured this was the direction things were going. My mom has had a rough year dealing with some of his other health issues and the death of her mom, so my thoughts are with her. I also keep thinking abou...

Re: Movies or "the breakdown of jasper"

Just saw "Baby Driver". Well, the first 10 minutes, approximately. Absolutely insufferable. 1/10. What's it about? All the 'critics' were raving about that film. It's about a young guy who wears shades and is always listening to his iPod Classic, who drives a car for a band of criminals and is a te...

about to start that one, I've heard others say good things about it as well.
I just finished American Vandal, a satirical take on documentaries like "Making a Murderer" and "Serial"
well done.

Re: Movies or "the breakdown of jasper"

I saw "It" over the weekend, I enjoyed it but didn't think it was all that scary. Relied too much on surprise scares rather than building suspense. My boss saw Blade Runner and hated it. :noclue:

Re: What new(can be old band ) music are you digging

yeah, great track. Thank for posting Artie. i just saw they announced a show here in SD at the house of blues. I saw them at the fillmore in SF a while back and I thought they were great, but you better really like strobe lights if you go see them. i think they might have something against epileptics.

Yesterday I found two $50 bills in the parking lot of the hotel I am staying at and then then this morning I went out on my balcony and saw two naked women making out in another room at 6am. :boobs:  Wow, you must have a horseshoe up your butt! :noclue: that seems pretty unlucky to me.
