I'm coming west for the Wiltern show for a long weekend. Anyone here from LA? I was planning on staying in Santa Monica near the beach. Good idea or bad idea? Or Should I stay in Highland Park? It won't really be beach weather will it? Is there a good bar near the venue for a preshow drink?

I would say the Terminal 5 show was the least favorite of all the 2011/2012 shows I've seen. It was strange. Too bright not loud enough. Too corporate etc.

Dave also said on Dark MAtter that Janes will be going back in the studio in 2013. Hopefully it doesn't take 5 years to release new music.

The sound I'd like too see Janes go for would be across between Digital by Joy Division and Admit I by Perry.

I have no problem with the 14 song set. They just need to switch it up more. Aint No Right, BCS and Mountain do NOT need to be played every show.

The reason I didn't like Whores was b/c it was primarily a book that was just pieced together from old magazine articles etc. A Casey book would be great however.
