I also found this interesting. Yet more evidence of pharmaceutical wishing to push their own product for big bucks whilst dumbing down the rest.

Re: Coronavirus
It seems the US and Israel have been the Guinea Pigs for the rest of the world. I'd rather not take the risk with my two. Vaccines stopping transmission isn't as good as first thought....as stated by someone from the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation, not myself (I'm not a medical prof...

Because something like 99.6% of the time healthy children who contract Covid have a very mild case if at all any. There is more chance of them having major side effects from the jab than it being of any use. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-58438669 https://www.reuters.com/world/uk/uk-advisers-dec...

Re: Coronavirus
My mum went into hospital with COVID yesterday. She was fully vaccinated. Her initial symptoms were very mild, but then got more severe. Alas, she is in the 70+ age category, where the majority is going to suffer. She seems to be doing OK though. My dad also contracted it but has come through unscat...

I like them! Very much late mid-late 90's Indie. The Verve/Bluetones/Embrace vibe for me.

I'm LOVING Mare of Easttown! 6 episodes in! I'm not a huge fan of Kate Winslet but she's excellent in this.

Re: Coronavirus
I had my Astra Zeneca jab a month ago. Felt awful the next day. No temperature but weirdly, felt extremely hot and lethargic. Woke up at 3 am and could't get back to sleep. Was absolutely fine the next day albeit a sore arm.

I watched Blue is the Warmest Colour the other day. Three hours long!! Sexually explicit but a superb story and extremely well acted. In French but subtitled obviously.

So I'm a late comer to the film Whiplash. I've watched it 3 times in the last 3 weeks it's THAT good. Then I found this clip of the tune Caravan by Charly Antolini. Holy fuck.

Re: Coronavirus
The UK has a four tiered lockdown at the moment. I'm in the highest Tier 4. The PM is speaking tonight to put even more tougher restrictions on the UK. Our National Health Service is supposedly at breaking point yet the office of national statistics show that this winter is no different to any of th...

Can anyone recommend a great set of wireless in ear headphones? I had some Bose onews previously but they were wired and I left them in an Uber last Summer :banghead: My budget ok and I can probably go to £150 and the Sony WF-1000XM3 fit the bill. https://www.whathifi.com/best-buys/best-wireless-ear...

Apparently there is a 'mutant' strain, yet viruses 'mutate' all of the time. Apparently our government knew about this in SEPTEMBER. They broke the news two days ago causing unseen chaos at train stations and ports, and basically cancelled Christmas for London and the South Eastm and put heavy restr...

Re: Who is going to win the election - Nov 3, 2020 - Biden or Trump.....?
Was Obama not half decent? Or at least the better man of modern times? Carter is probably the furthest back I remember but don't remember much about him. I was at school throughout the Reagan/Thatcher years but never paid attention to US politics or politics in general.
