Re: Jane's working on a classic rock cover song right now.
Dave also said on Dark MAtter that Janes will be going back in the studio in 2013. Hopefully it doesn't take 5 years to release new music. what about his planned two solo disc then!? scrapped that already? I would look so much more forward to a Dave solo effort than a new Jane's album Jane's record...

Re: Presidential Debate(s)
The country voted for hope and change, but to me that isn't working, so I'm looking for something different. You are right they haven't laid out exactly what they will do. The problem with this logic is that there's nothing different on the table on the Romney/Ryan ticket, at least in terms of spen...

Jane's NYC show at Terminal 5 on TV
Looks like the 7/25/11 show is to air next weekend on Palladia. It's not in my normal bundle of Directv. It is on a free trial right now (10/10-10/17), but it looks like I won't be Tivoing it. Anyone?

It does help to pay close attention to what people actually say. I think Chaos's reading is correct. great, I'm glad you think that and you might be right, but again you might be wrong. It's not quite as arbitrary as that, LJF. Comments such as these really undercut others you legitimately raise ab...

Re: Presidential Debate(s)
Raddatz's did have some bias in favor of Biden, but she did snap at him a couple times for interrupting and correcting her (when Biden said something about getting less time). The difference came, I thought, in two ways. First, the questions were specific in ways that Ryan and Co. like to avoid. The...

Re: Presidential Debate(s)
I've read 40 million and I've read 60 million watched the debate, but of those people how many would really have their opinion changed? I would imagine a large percent of the people watching already know who they will vote for and the debate isn't going to change that. I think that's right. I read ...

Re: Presidential Debate(s)
I was wondering why Obama felt the need to lie and tell Jim he was doing a great job? Because Obama has empathy....... I'm not saying it was right or prudent for him to say that, but it means he most likely has elderly people who are close to him that he cares for and knows the tragedy of loosing o...

 Yes, I knew them (too much minutiae in my head). I was at loss, however, regarding the Poland reference. Poland wasn't actually that obscure of a reference point, as it served, at the time, to exemplify the ludicrous composition of the "coalition of the willing"--not that Poland should be dis...

Re: " Mitt the Twit"
Mother Jones may have significantly changed the course of America's direction and human history. Seeing that those comments have struck a chord in Americans and Obama may be more free to pursue a more 'socialist' path for this country, one in which our government attempts to help our people instead...

Re: dave at Eli Roth opening in vegas
For a guy who hasn't moved to NYC, why would he not be on the west coast? Because he said he was moving there :agree: (the quotation marks around move were to suggest that he didn't really move, by the way) http://www.aintnoright.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1432 I know. I am moving there RT @Zoey_Ramon...

Thanks for drawing my attention back to the site. The small pearls there are intoxicating. Can't wait for more. Re: Inger Lorrre
I've never seen this clip with Dave before. It really is an important clip because that's the only post-Jane's footage, or even a photo, of Dave before Deconstruction that I've ever seen, plus it shows his mixing board that was probably used to do the demos for Deconstruction. He still has his drea...

Re: " Mitt the Twit"
why did romney wait until now to release his tax info? 14% tax rate for 2011. i wish i paid 14%! Mitt Romney made $13.7 million last year and paid $1.94 million in federal income taxes, his campaign says. His rate was up slightly from the 13.9% rate he paid in 2010. He should be paying 90% (on the ...
