Re: Donald Trump running for President.
If DJT is convicted in the Senate after his term, another vote can be held to bar him from running for office again. He can also lose benefits granted under the Post President's Act (pension, travel expenses etc.) https://www.archives.gov/about/laws/for ... dents.html

Re: Coronavirus
I have clearly disputed those "specifics." Really? Where? You think the vaccines are going to work based on a total of 55K people who have gotten doses two different vaccines, where one showed protection for a seven day study period . No one has seen the actual trial data. The process has been acce...

Re: Coronavirus
I think most of the US is going to be in serious trouble by New Years, far moreso than at any point so far. The arc of new cases is simply out of control. There's just so many stupid, selfish people out there. And politicians are useless and government run services and general medical care are star...

Despite what I think of John Bolton, he can be funny: https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/week-transcript-11-15-20-adm-brett-giroir/story?id=74218239 I don't buy the argument that Donald Trump has hypnotized Republican voters or they're not capable of accepting the truth. This is a myth that's being per...

Re: Donald Trump running for President.
Trump's lawyers just dumped him. I was surprised this firm was even representing DJT since Don McGahn is one of the partners. McGahn was involved in the Trump campaign and later became White House counsel. His relationship with Trump was fraught with tension. He left in Oct 2018. He did not leave on...

^So today I have read nothing but scathing reviews of Hillbilly Elegy. Poor Ron Howard. (The movie is never as good as the book. ) I may watch it anyway.

Re: White House Firings, Resignations, Replacements etc . .
This firing worried me. I don't think it bodes well when the guy who opposed using US troops on US soil,Esper, gets fired right after Cheeto lost the election and just as he's ramping up his bid to retain power. As always, he is putting his ego before the best interest of the country. https://thehi...

Hillbilly Elegy releases on Netflix on November 24th. I really enjoyed the book (memoir). KW_3aaoSOYg J.D. Vance (Gabriel Basso), a former Marine from southern Ohio and current Yale Law student, is on the verge of landing his dream job when a family crisis forces him to return to the home he’s tried...

^I get it. It is pretty funny though. It's a live caricature of a stereotypical Trump supporter. The woman is dancing with a Blue Lives Matter flag as a cape to the song Killing in the Name.

I have read several books revolving around the Trump presidency and I have enjoyed Schmidt's book the most (3/4 through it). This one is worth your time.
