Re: Perry Throws First Pitch at White Sox Game
Eddie Vedder throws from the mound when he pitches, just sayin. Honestly though, Perry does look cool in a Sox jersey, even if he did tuck it in.

Hell yes. Nothing like beating City to start things off. I thought De Gea looked a bit shaky, but other than that it was a great showing.

Mike is a nice fellow but he's so much a fan it's scary. Even Perry farting would result in a "Oh my God this is so good" thread. LOL. This kind of reminds me of Mike and Perry. http://corriecanuck.files.wordpress.com/2009/08/misery.jpg?w=395&h=298 hahaha, if perry ever disappears, we'll know exact...

Re: RHCP
Aw man, that last AC/DC album was the best thing they've done in 15 years (or the last couple albums - same thing). The tour was pretty decent as well. oh yeah? honestly i'm not their biggest fan, so i've always been a bit cynical about them i guess, probably never gave it a fair shot. can johnson ...

dave deserves one of those, if anyone. the possibilities are endless. imagine a whole "JA & Friends" coloring book. make 'em big, kiddies, just how uncle perry likes 'em.

Re: Amy Winehouse and the Perils of Alcohol Withdrawal
Didn't she have severe lung damage including advanced emphysema around '08 from smoking so much crack and cigs? IMO, I think she just fucked her body up so badly over the last half decade that she was a ticking time bomb regardless of whether she could clean herself up or not. Indeed. It's amazing ...

Re: RHCP
I think raindance maggie is very weak, with a chorus that's just too pop-ish to enjoy (at least for me). it's all very tedious. though I still kind of look forward to hearing the whole album... a little. nu-janes is just utter crap. will maybe check them out again next decade so I think I'll stay h...

Re: RHCP
Raindance Maggie definitely isn't bad, but it sounds like something that would be one of the deeper tracks on an earlier album, not a single by any means. For what it's worth, the Chilis camp claims the rest of the album sounds nothing like it. So far Jane's has the edge.

Re: Getting bin Laden
Nice. That was a fantastic moment. It didn't solve the world's problems, it can't bring his victims back, but it was a great feeling to see "Osama Bin Laden is Dead" come on the TV. And to top it all off, it happened during a Jane's show.

btw, who is cashinnowperry? Long time Xiola lurker, never signed up cause I just didn't want to be that "new kid," I suppose, and things were starting to slide downhill. I was bummed to see Sonny pull the plug, but when I saw how fast you guys came back together with a new board, I just had to jump...

Where's Obblenaut? I miss seeing Donald Sutherland pointing at me as though I were some invading body snatcher. I think that's the body-snatched version of Sutherland at the end of the film, who is pointing out his still-human former-friend who had just mistaken Sutherland for his human self. That ...

Re: Chris Chaney in New Publicity Photo
Honestly, I can't gauge how good of a studio/creative bassist he is in the Jane's Addiction dynamic because it seems like he came in after most of the groundwork had been done on both the new album and Strays where he apparently just tweaked Martyn's work. No fault of his own. However, for better o...

ouch. that's gonna suck, not being able to read the 5 posts a week over there.
i think it's hilarious that xiola's demise and the subsequent relaunch of ANR has given them the most traffic they've seen in forever. i guess it was too much for them to take.

our good buddy just added an "Ask Sonny" option to his tumblr/xiola front. time to find out what he's packing in that bag. that's definitely the most important question i could think to ask.
