I think “Another Soulmate” appeared online mid-tour…and then the reception was so BAD that it randomly/mysteriously vanished from all corners of the internet one day.

I’ll never forget Rolling Stone giving Ritual a 2 out of 5 stars when it was originally released. That was a serious WTF moment considering it’s a masterpiece; received a lot of acclaim at the time and landed on many “best of the year” lists that year.

I’m really starting to think this new “album” will be by Josh’s Addiction.

I've always wondered why the two Warner albums gave Perry a production credit. Does anyone have any insight on this? Does Perry have any legitimate production skills? Or was this a credit just to give Perry (and the band) more credibility or mystique?

Just to put things in perspective, there was 15 years between The Spaghetti Incident?! and Chinese Democracy. It has now been 15 years since Chinese Democracy was as released.

Funny, the reunited “Guns N Roses” has been saying for years now they are working on new music.

All I know is Rubin “produced” Danzig II: Lucifuge and it sounds fucking phenomenal. Even if it was his minions doing the grunt work, there are plenty of albums that were on Def American/American Recordings that sound great.

The band doesn't have a record deal so I wouldn't be surprised if they produce it themselves.

They don’t have a record deal that we’re aware of. Even if they don’t currently have one, Perry has enough clout and the band’s name carries enough weight that they likely can get whoever they want.

So this was the last thing the band recorded during the original era, to my knowledge. Does anyone know when it was recorded? It was recorded in North London and mixed in Los Angeles; just wondering exactly when they recorded it.
