Re: All the people who died.....

I post on a bay area motorcycling forum with over 45K members. As you can imagine there have been quite a few deaths over the years, so much so that we now have a "remembrance" sub forum. :wavesad: May all those who have died on the road, doing what they loved, Rest In Peace........... :cona: I hav...

Re: 2012 Olympics

i think it's great to see someone win their first gold medal. it must be pretty exciting to say that you are the best in the world at something. the internet will probably ruin a lot of it for me since i will probably know the results before i watch. How about a two werk interenet brake and...........

Монгол! Монгол! Монгол! Монгол! Фак Юъ! :lolol: But they really do get the short end of history in so many ways.... I guess that is what you get when your only physical legacy (outside of blood-lines) is a couple stone turtles and some paltry bridges. Astounding when you consider the...

Re: Habitat for Humanity - Blue Sky Build

After 1,800 photos; many ger camps; a beautiful horse trip up the ancient Orkhon River Valley [Орхоны гол хөндийн]; surviving the inexplicable chaos of the densly populated city of Ulaanbaatar [Улаанбаатар] (who would have thought a city like that would exist in the least densely populated country o...

Re: NCAAF

oh... I thought this was PAC-12 playoffs.... :noclue: I think it's a good step for 4 teams to start, for the national championship. That way the bowl games stay somewhat in tact. There is a lot of history there that would be a shame to just scrap. Though, I can't say they haven't already ruined the ...

826 SQFT for 300k is just painful... That's about the same size-to-cost as most places in the over-expanded parts of the Greater Toronto Area... but man... $300,000 for what's basically a retirement bungalow. :jasper: i agree... We're on different planets here....... T-minus 48 hrs until departure for Mongolia! I am nervous but also excited, curious and amazed that I have the opportunity to do this. I rode a horse for the first time last weekend and that went well. I have a feeling that there will be many trips on a horse in Mongolia, I have the walk a...

Re: What's annoying you today?

Just completed my commute home that cost me $54.50 but normally costs $ 4.50 and involved ineptitude, absent mindedness, multiple trains, a long bike ride and tragically a civilian death, probably suicide......... considering that I am grateful that my day wasn't way worse.

@Artemis: That stinks! Take it easy and definitely do the PT that they recommend, very important. Your country must have some sort of system where they let people not work for sn ungodly amount of time because of personal injuries?
