Same thing with those little clean licks in the quiet interim of Ocean Size. TVL plays natural minor (like Jimmy Page might); Dave plays mixolydian (like Garcia). Little things like that matter to the character of the song because they are important tonal color. I do like some of Troy’s noise bits....
