Wow! I just read this on twitter. Though I never plan on seeing NIN ever again in my lifetime, this is great news for Eric! And it must be killing Dave. I don't think it's killing Dave. Hopefully it's a more of an organic sounding band. I really don't care much for Avery's solos stuff. I do like NIN and loved seeing them on Ninja. We'll see. This summer could see NIN touring, and a Jane's Pumpkins or Jane/Soundgardentour (my new prediction!)

That is super cool! I'll be seeing Jane's with Chaney and NIN with Eric this summer! No complaints here. Just good old music.

I hate Billy Corgan. SP was my 2nd Fav band for a while though in the early 90's! There's nothing classic about the Pumpkins, except for Gish. I think it's the Pixies. Hopefully it's a theater tour again, b/c I agree that JA and PIxies will have a LOT of empty seats in the back of an amphitheater.

Here's what happened. Lollapalooza was hoping that Jane's would headline a summer 1998 tour. Perry was into it. Dave a total mess and didn't want to tour again. Dave spent a year working on TNO and his book project.

That was pretty funny. Perry is a normal dude. Talkative muthafucker.

6767 did you go to any Theater of the Escapists shows? These shows were great. For a band whose heyday was in 91, they were fantastic and the audience loved it.

12/29 was so much better.
2012 was a good year for Janes. Hopefully they hit the studio and make a killer album in 2013 (minus the Play idea)

I was there. To be honest, it wasn't as good as 12/29. 12/29 was a great show. I barely remember a thing from the 12/31 show. I was front row, or 2nd row most of the time. Opening band was TERRIBLE.
