Actually, this is interesting! Brian Bell of Weezer is onstage there. Before joining Weezer, he played bass in a band called Carnival Art. The singer/guitar player in that band was Ed Dobrydnio. DN replaced him in Jane's Addiction and the rest is history

I bet Dave and Stephen refused to let Perry involve Jane's and I'm glad. Yes, the name is tarnished badly already. But this would have been an absolute disgrace.
