Re: Now Playing...

One of my facebook friends posted this song and it made me think of Jasper. I think this is his cup of tea.
It's quite a lovely song.

Re: What made your day today?

Found out my next neighbours and their screeching 18 month old are gone for a week- woohoo! I live in an old apartment building that does not have acoustic insulation. Sometimes that kid has crying/tantrum spells that sound like he is being filleted with a knife. I think they're going to be...

Current minimum wage is $7.25. :yikes: Is that for New York state only or is there a federal minimum wage? In Ontario it's$10.25/hr( our dollar is pretty much on par with yours these days) The lowest minimum wage is $9/hr in the Yukon. I don't if it's true or not, but I remember hearing that in the...

I saw EWF a couple of times in the 90s - totally worth it!

Unfortunately they don't wear those flamboyant outfits anymore.

i'm asking about the shows, i was thinking of going. it's legitimate weighing of the cons/pros. it''s worth checking out for sure. the tickets aren't crazy expensive and it's a fun night out. you should go. the tabernacle is a great venue. i saw a show there once when i was visiting a couple of fri...

Honestly, Etty's singing is no big deal. If you strain to listen to her backup vocals you might hear her. It's not like PF has reworked songs to be duets where she actually sings entire verses.

A better crowd would have enhanced the show for me greatly. All these senior citizens are shitting up the tour. i found the seniors more into the show than the younger people in the crowd. prolly because they don't get out as often as they used to. so attending a concert with by a fave band f...

You guys are fucking nuts. Pre 2001 Perry was a bad mother fucker. Just fucking insane. Wilder than Iggy. Did androgynous better than Bowie, and more artsy than FM. Now you're just being silly. Aside from those three guys, I can objectively rattle off more frontmen who were and in many cases still ...

Re: Mar 3 - Portland, ME at State Theatre

the performances thus far have not exceeded expectations. i mean, they've been competent but haven't gone above and beyond to create that "wow" moment.

the show i was at seemed to lack enthusiasm and passion. maybe that's the missing ingredient. :noclue:

$100,000 seems like a small prize to me, if you were a good enough artist to win, you are probably already making that much a year. and dave seems so unnatural on the show. he seems stiff and scripted, where the other guys seems like they are giving real opinions. i agree with that. i do like the s...

Re: how's the tour going?

the reviews so far have been very positive. a few points were mentioned abut the "theatrical" part of the show being awkward and not really fitting in, also surprise about not playing more of the new material. the critics have been pretty generous, i think. dave has been getting tremendous praise fo...
