Re: All the people who died.....

I don't remember the part about him hurting someone or himself. I remember he was a good looking dude who I think wrestled in high school, but had issues. I remember he lived with his grandparents though and his uncle came on the board reading all of his posts. I pm'd his uncle a few times and told...

The movie Wristcutters: A Love Story is pretty great. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0477139/ A film set in a strange afterlife way station that has been reserved for people who have committed suicide. With the music of Gogol Bordello (and a Russian companion named 'Eugene' who is clearly a stand-in f...

Re: All the people who died.....

the larry incident was before my time. You weren't posting at moths when that went down? I remember seeing the "suicide" post and then copying/pasting it over to xiola and then everything went to hell. Some people on xiola were wondering where the original post was made, because at the time moths b...

I was going to offer to let him run away and live with me at college here in St. Louis, but he never seemed overly serious about killing himself til he did. Still bums me out to think abou...

Also in the market, The Hot Box Cafe. If you like to smoke pot, you can go on their "potio" and indulge hassle-free. Even if you don't, it's worth checking out for people watching. It's a preety cool vibe. They have smoothies and snacks too.

Excellent article! The part that Larry mentioned stuck out for me too as well as this bit from Plantation America: It’s not an overstatement to say that we’re now living in Plantation America. As Lind points out: to the horror of his Yankee father, George W. Bush proceeded to run the country exactly...
