Re: Perry Farrell on Google+

I couldn't get through the first 10 seconds of that. The first dude sounded like someone from Howard Stern's Wack Pack. Did Perry rattle off any anti-Eric or Sonny/Xiola jokes?

Arcade fire will not cause 20,000 fans in each city to lose their minds the way way ja once did. The suburbs album, to me, is awful. Adult contemporary bs. Is it just me, or does it look really fucking stupid that he has that giant echo deal onstage with him? Can't someone build him something he wears on his belt? Or put it on a mic stand like Trent uses. He's always had that or a similar rig with him onstage and it's kind of quaint so I personally do...

It loads and refreshes very slow at inconsistant times at least for an hour stretch a day the past week. Sometimes it's nights, sometimes it's afternoons, doesn't matter if there's heavy (for this place) traffic or not. No pattern. I have noticed Malwarebytes giving me virus warnings a couple times ...

Is this a serious question? What's your next poll, Plan 9 From Outer Space or Star Wars (A New Hope)? LOL! Page and Hendrix are the father of modern rock guitar. Those two have probably inspired more people to pick up a guitar than all other players combined. Dave is an amazing player and his playi...

Re: Songs Off TGEA You Like Better Than The Older Material?

Old material? Like pre-Strays? There's absolutely nothing from TGEA that comes close to trumping anything off the 3 original albums imo. Best I can come up with is comparing my least-favorite pre-Strays throwaway track "So What" with my favorite track off TGEA which is "Underground." And that's a re...

These lyrics are so much better than Strays it's not even funny. Underground alone gives it that distinction. Strays had no message. It was Perry newly married, newly a dedicated father, a few years sober with nothing to talk about. At least on this album he's painting pictures of "broken people" a...

These things are usually EP length. This is where those instrumental tracks should go. Dave solo record?* Who was paying f...
