I have to admit. Its growing on me. Maybe because Im just a janes fan. The first half of the album is pretty good. I might change my mind yet again.

I'm hoping at Irving Plaza, being it's the eve and day of the official release, we get at least 4. I don't have my hopes up, but then again I didn't have my hopes up for TGEA and I turned out wrong. And yeah, unlike Strays these songs don't have that part or lyric that just ruins the song for me. F...

They're going to have to hire a keyboardist or two or and extra guitarist to put some of this off. Won't sound as full and the double vocals shouldn't happen. Didn't work of the Kimmel show.

Ok, listened again. This is the power ballad of the album. It's not that bad, but not my favorite.

Another thing I noticed. Most the song that were written with Duff are my least favorite so far. Maybe because they seem closer to Strays? Also I noticed Another Soul Mate didn't make the cut. I wonder if we'll get any B-sides from all of this?

Just listened to it again. I like the intro a lot, and I like the song better, but god I hate those "ooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhooooooooooo" parts. I feel Perry needs to let the instrumentation breath in a lot of spots on this album.

Well, the opener and closer are fairly strong and have some balls. This reminds me of Dogs Rule the Night as well. Underground is by far the best song of this record. There you go.

I thought we were heading into a lag with the two songs before this. I didn't like Ultimate Reason and Splash A Little Water On It, but this one picks up a bit. Doesn't sound like a Jane's song. Sounds like standard pop. Not a bad song though.

Yeah I hear some AIC there. I hate the lyrics, but I can ignore that. This sounds closer to something from Strays. Meh. Not the best, not the worst.

I like the chorus, I verses are boring/happy to me. Not really liking the sound of this one and its pretty straight ahead pop. It's just meh.

I hate IF and Curiosity Kills more. I like the guitar tones. I like most of the tones on this. Not a super exciting song, but I might like this more after a few more listens.

Yeah I don't dig the Chorus, but I like the verses. Same with IF. Has a very 80 vibe to it, much like U2/Duran Duran/ even Arcade Fire or TONR. So far, I'm not too into this one.

I will also say I like the intro thing between this song and ETTL. It makes more sense. Almost like the intro to Aint no Right.

That dude has a hell of a lot of history. Which makes the decision even more bizarre. Maybe it was a money issue? Not his best work by far though. Doesn't really make sense with the title Strays or Hypersonic. However, still better than what we ended up with.
