Re: RHCP

My dad can beat up your dad on the internet. Uh huh.

They should have picked up the Edge if they really wanted the entire spectrum of fx and simplicity. He's not there yet, but he's tryin by golly. :deadhorse:

Re: Steve Jobs Resigns From Apple

Didn't his guy have a jet on the tarmac.....pilot waiting at a moments notice to fly him anywhere in the country for an organ transplant even if it meant jumping ahead in line? I think it worked. :noclue: i think it DIDN'T work. He's not leaving because he's suddenly going to be doing better. He's ...

Re: RHCP

General report from 16 year olds..... and, they closed with Sir Psycho.  AK sounds and looks wonderful. Chad played around with mad fills where he usually just phones it in. Flea. Nuff said. JK killed it. Apparently he was deeply into the music looking for distortions and mad ...

Re: RHCP

Latest texted report from a half hour ago. The opening band for the benefit concert was a group of teachers from the Silverlake Conservatory. They sucked (apparently), but were saved by Chad sitting in at the end of their set. Roadies are performing the reset on stage now. I'm going out on a limb an...

Re: Sonny, 4th Member

Well, I thought it would be interesting to hear Sonny as a regular poster.

I guess I have back when the sites ran simultaniously....but it's a different era for Janes and such.

I, for one, have no hard feelings whatsoever. I barely have any feelings left after the surgury though. :noclue:

Re: RHCP

In the world of big time music integrity, the RHCP's aren't the big fish. They are the whale. If RHCP are the whale...Led Zeppelin is the mother fucking ocean. Well, I was speaking of the manner in which they distribute their earnings. Each member gets 25% and that doesn't reflect th...

He dealt with a great deal of grief. At some point, it wasn't worth it. Plus, that board got burned every 2 years

Re: Sonny, 4th Member

i don't think we should let him in after he destroyed years worth of our threads. His burning the house down analogy was correct, except it was more like an apartment building that he owned. "Hey guys, sorry i burned down the building and all of your stuff with it, can i crash on your couch?" NO. :...

Sonny, 4th Member

I don't get it.

I want to see him here.

He had such unconventional perspectives on the particularities at Xiola, but was bound by the chaperone affliction.

I'd love to see him unhinged and unrestricted.

Welcome Sonny!

Re: RHCP

Someone mentioned "maturity" here in regards to JA and the Chilis. We can equivocate on that word all day, but this is worth mentioning.... Josh Klinghoffer, prior to any recording, was promised equal writing credit for this album. The Chilis have always split in equal proportion the revenu...
