Re: Eric leaves NIN or "the breakdown of nyrexall"

This thread finally got interesting. Hoka's comment about non-americans on page 60 is pretty much the 1st time i've ever read a line on here and thought "cunt". well it was a response to this :noclue: You're the stereotype who makes foreigners incorrectly assume that all Americans are loud mouth id...

Re: Live shows in your agenda?

Fleetwood Mac later this month, then a whole load of smaller shows through Autumn... Local Natives, Phosphorescent (a couple of times) and a fucking awesome Danish band called Pinkunoizu. I'm working on adding a few more as there ain't much to do in the wintry old UK other than catch shows!

I honestly fancied Chip Away to get an outing tonight. Pleased i didn't add that to my post earlier or everyone would think I was Etty.

Sounds like a good one tonight.

Re: Rockstar Energy Uproar Tour

Purely because it's like 1am or something here in lovely old England and i'm losing my mind!!! It's too bloody sad that you and i both suspect that a change of 2 songs or more is pretty much not gonna happen. Sure it can happen. They can drop 3 Days and Jane says and cut it down to a 9 song set. :l...

Re: Rockstar Energy Uproar Tour

I love playing set-list bingo! Pretty much agree with Juana on this one mind. Also agree with Feathers - pretty stoked to see a different song up there and I never minded Price I Pay at all. At least they're "mixing it up" (using that term in it's loosest sense). Dave must be pumped

Re: Rockstar Energy Uproar Tour

1% is a damn good start. The next step is to have 2 "retired" songs in the one set - if you had 1% and then, say, Obvious a couple of songs later, most of us would be pretty stoked. As we've all said a billion times... it's. not. that. hard. orrrrrrr since it's the 25 year anniversary on August 23,...

Re: Music You Were Raised On

I proper love threads like these... Anyway, my own answer is going to be pretty wank. I don't really remember too much music being played... certainly not in the way that my two kids are now subjected to it! I know my old man was a Fleetwood Mac fan (modelled himself on looking like LB and i...

Re: Live shows in your agenda?

Still ridiculously stoked at seeing Beck play an acoustic show in Cambridge (UK) a couple of Saturday's back. I used to idolise that guy and catch every single tour (i saw his 1st ever UK show... proper fanboy) but i'd seriously wobbled the past 6-7 years or so. Anyway, an acoustic show on my doorst...

I'm Buckingham / Nicks all the way! Seeing them in September and will take all the Tusk songs they wanna do. Of the 5, Christine is the one i'm most happy to miss (although she's on about doing one of the London shows as a guest, so i may catch her anyway). But yeah, as long as Bucks and Nicks show...

Re: Live shows in your agenda?

Acoustic Beck show in a couple of weeks. I cannot wait even though i haven't dug his output for the past few years. Acoustic says that this will be awesome, much like the Royal Albert Hall shows 10 years ago. I was at his 1st ever UK show in '94 so it's fair to say i'm a fan-boy.

Re: Rockstar Energy Uproar Tour

Lame... just so disappointingly lame. I simply do not understand the decisions this band come to. If this tour came to within a mile of my house, i wouldn't go. Living a past glory perhaps, but if they were to play a split show here in the UK (somewhere cool like the Barbican), 1st half consisting o...
