Re: Almond Milk

I've been on a 0% milk for years. I LOVE cereal....morning, afternoon, or night, but have found when I limit it I lose weight at a better clip. I have had soy, and think the taste is offensive. Almond is on my to do list.

Re: Victims of 'legitimate rape' cannot become pregnant

i guess i don't understand wanting to bash this guys face in?? he isn't advocating rape. he is just guilty of being an idiot. :noclue: I think the idea is that it would be poetic justice if, e.g., he were raped, and then asked if it was legitimate. He'd just consider it proof of his initial stateme...

Re: Not sure where to post this

Death, be not proud, though some have called thee Mighty and dreadful, for thou art not so; For those whom thou think'st thou dost overthrow, Die not, poor Death, nor yet canst thou kill me. From rest and sleep, which but thy pictures be, Much pleasure; then from thee much more must flow, And soone...

Re: Not sure where to post this

I know the name, but can't recall any specifics. However there is a faint memory that resonates positively. From what peeps have said in this thread, she sounds like a wonderful and interesting person. RIP, for real Miss Maceo. :wavesad:

It's simply choosing to be seen as happy, which of course will lead to additional unhappiness.

In LA too.....he went on a diatribe of gratitude at the end of the show that was WAY too long winded to be anything other than sincere.

Re: Dave Navarro's Flesh Hook Suspension

well... he did the second one last night in NYC. :jasper: I guess an true addict just can't just do something once, they have to do it again a few days later. :lolol: Just leave him there, levitating......but hang a sign on him saying, "DO NOT FEED". But that might push the 'acceptable' levels of d...

Re: RHCP

You're gonna love it (as you already know). There's a vibe of authenticity that emanates from these guys that amazes me.....even after thousands of shows. They played 6 BSSM tunes at the show I attended -Suck My Kiss -If You Have to Ask -Under the Bridge -Sir Psycho Sexy -They're Red Hot -Give It Aw...

AHHHH SHIT! Just got the hook up for ACL this year! LE-FUCKING-GIT!. Only place I will not be allowed is near the busses. So I'm going to try to record the show from the side of the stage. I have an Android phone but thinking I might need something better but I can not be too obvious those ACL fuck...

Re: RHCP

Caught them last night in Oakland. Great show. Josh held his own but I do miss Froosh. Josh is not as aggressive a player as John and at times I really didn't like his tone. This was probably my 12th or 13th time seeing them since 1990 and they definitely still bring it live. A solid two hour set t...

Re: Dave Navarro's Flesh Hook Suspension

I really am surprised at the time I've devoted to this. DN is a real victim and he's been scarred. I think this 'activity' is a result of it. I think he screams for attention for so many wrong reasons in so many misguided ways, it's pathetic. Further diminshing this very real issue is the fact that ...

I took my 10.5 y.o. lab/mastiff mix to the Puget Sound the other day. He has a hard time walking sometimes and I thought he might like being in the water, which he used to love. His legs gave out and he couldn't swim. I had to go in after him. You can believe I was crying about that. He looked so p...

I suspect the sensory reactions are quite different. But I'll never be able to say precisely.....I'm never going to suspend, but I will freefall again. But then, I wouldn't compare it to skiing, or motorcycle riding, or any other exhilarating activity. :noclue: Ultimately, to each his own.....
