Re: Movies

Yesterday I saw Al Pacino's "Dog Day Afternoon". It was OK for a Saturday evening.. Dog Day Afternoon is a masterpiece of acting and film-making. I wasn't too thrilled about the acting, aside from Pacino's. Also, I thought some moments were poorly developed (like when Al throws money in the air and...

Re: What's annoying you today?

Annoying me today, my girlfriend. You'd expect a grown woman has gone past the routine of saying "if you want to call me, call me... if not, it's ok" and then complaining because you don't call her (and, of course, she doesn't call you either). Goddamn it. I wish I liked alcohol so I could get fucki...

I root for Arsenal which is basically year after year of this :balls: :balls: :balls: .   Totally... can't believe Arsenal finished 4th last season. They reaaally need to start scoring. And get a decent goalkeeper, although I think Szczęsny is really good. The 4-4 last season agains...

Re: Movies

I recently saw "True Grit", it was lovely. Oh, and last month I saw "Pi", which I had avoided since high school because I just couldn't stand the hype around it. Turns out, I was right: it's just a piece of shit, which can be a pseudo-mind-opener someone for someone in the 10th grade. Yesterday I sa...

:hehe: and yeah, De Gea played a part in both City goals... but he also showed some signs of great skill and quick reflexes. It was interesting how during the final 20 minutes, the 5 players at the back of ManU had an average age of 20.8 years. De Gea is 20, for fucks sake... and the typical peak fo...

It can be mildly bad to super bad, but sometimes the solution is quite easy: google the missing file, download it, copy it to the proper folder, restart and hope for the best :thumb:

I've done it a lot of times and it has always solved the problem :noclue:

Re: Jane's Multi-tracks

I'm thinking it was because of some kind of 4-track limit at the time... basically, you had to work with limited resources, so some shit simply had to be mixed, there was no other way around. It was pretty cool nevertheless, you can really tell the difference between that and an mp3. To me, it has n...

I've just heard the multitrack for Mountain Song (thank you, PG!)... if you haven't done yet, download it and listen. By listening to the individual tracks, you might just notice the artistic difference of the Jane's of yore and the one from today. So many layers, so very carefully crafted and very ...

Without a Jane's section, I doubt this place would have a future, even if nobody uses it. It's like an anchor, something that reminds you of what brought you here in the first place, and that it's not like you're just wasting your time talking about smilies. You're in "the Jane's board", not "the bo...
