Re: The Cure

It was pretty surreal - I'd managed to only get lawn, at first. Kept fishing and landed something in 203. And kept looking on the day of the show. Front row seats popped up at 2pm.

Re: The Cure

I was wondering whether you'd made it. Agreed on the setlist. I think it was the weakest of the set list of the tour, personally. The Disintegration trio in the first encore is always nice, but it did miss a few of the gems you mentioned during the main set. The performance was stunning, they're jus...

They've also had an IG story up since this morning. Just a tease with the date on an orange backdrop. No audio.

Re: The Cure

Ah, yes, The Phoenix show was fantastic. Then again, they all have been - have been to five so far on this trek. His voice is remarkable - he seems to defy age. There were a couple of shows I saw last autumn where he could barely speak between songs as he had 'McFlu" and I was convinced they'd pull ...

Re: The Cure

I'm going to pass on Montreal for the 17th. I saw someone posted in one of the Cure groups that hotel rooms are going for about $900 in Montreal on June 17th. The Montreal Grand Prix is June 16-18. I'm going to continue to periodically check for June 14th. I'm almost at the point where I don't care...

janesaddiction.org board.
This was my guess but I wasn't sure. Makes complete sense though, especially given the influx of ANR accounts with join dates of August 2011. How the fuck has it been almost 12 years?!

Re: The Cure

Fingers crossed! 1 show for you! Crossing fingers for Artemis, 100%! As for me...I like your optimism! I will be trying for two more, but I have a meeting at 10am when they go on sale. No breath held. I was surprised by the shows they announced. PDX makes complete sense and I had a feeling that wou...

I'm not going to inundate this post with links to journal articles about the mental health situation amongst teens and young adults.
At least that would stand a chance of being an upgrade on the rest of the bullshit you seem to have brewing.

Re: The Cure

It is incredible to see tickets popping up on those sites. And that subsequent tweet with the estimate that 40-50% of the revenue frrom ticket sales for the tour coming from the three states where scalping can't be curbed is remarkable. The system is so broken. I still go to a lot of shows and feel ...

Re: The Cure

Ha! Yes..."healthy" - I like that! Vivid is a scalper site, as far as I know. Personal views of that sort of things aside, I would worry that any tickets from the likes of there and Stubhub would get canceled. The resale system seems to be working; I have seen tickets come up for every show, at some...

Umm...do I have to admit? It's a little embarrassing, given that Artemis is currently locked out!

Re: The Cure

I last saw them on the Delta Machine tour, which was a GREAT show. I've passed it up a few times since, but like PB said, with Fletch's passing, this might make it a bit different. And I'm sincerely questioning how many more DM tours are going to happen, so it might be my last chance. It does feel ...

Re: The Cure

Those were all arenas, but I'd say arenas in Europe are typically smaller than here. Wembley Area is something like 13k capacity, one of the ones I went to was something like 4k capacity. Shoreline is over 20k

https://twitter.com/CraigatCoF/status/1640117704844623872 That's the first Toronto ticket I have seen pop up...they're out there! Re: The Cure

I have been thinking the same. It's odd. I keep trying to explain it for a few reasons in my head (pent up plague era demand, 'relatively' inexpensive seats, etc), but I am not sure any of of these makes sense. It's probably just the legacy act thing. Whatever this is, it's on a whole other level of...

They're randomly popping up for various shows now...slowly. Vancouver (for which they have actually released a bunch of standard seats). Phoenix. Etc.

Best of luck, pals!
Thanks...it's finally live now.

Artemis - one ticket for Toronto available now. Wheelchair. Not suggesting you want it, but it's working for your show.

Saw two for ATL...went to grab them. Then gone. So frustrating. Keep at it.

Re: The Cure

I am not sure that anything that may happen today is timed like the on-sales, so it may or may not be at 10am local time. I fear it may be more a case of obsessive checking, for those inclined.

Merci.

Re: The Cure

I don't know this as fact, but more so a case of cobbling together pieces of information. It's my understanding that Ticketmaster hold control of the tickets. The whole thing about Friday is that they will unlock people's ability to transfer tickets. Whether that's from their own site, or elsewhere....

Re: The Cure

My jaw just dropped for a moment when I saw that - since it seemed quite random as a location for a a second date. And especially since CO is one of three states that seem to hug scalpers, it would have been surprising for them to go out of their way to cater there. I think they'll mostly/all be Wes...

Encouraging that Perry says Dave is “doing good” I did notice a new post from Vanessa DuBasso from yesterday and it's photos of her and her cat only. https://www.instagram.com/p/CqE7VgvuGbW/?hl=en Not to be crass, but I only clicked on it to see whether she's still wearing the ring. That didn't tak...
