If you see this compared to their very recent performance.

Here: so full of youthful energy

New show: just 3 old guys on a stage

I'm not a fan of these reunion shows

Re: Black Sabbath rewrites history (Jane's style)

I'm glad they don't have Bill Ward on drums.

I saw the Sabbath reunion in 98 I think, and Bill definitely was the weak link. He just couldn't keep up.

I love that FNM drummer!

Re: Black Sabbath rewrites history (Jane's style)

They played Into The Void!

Great, glad that made the setlist, I love that song.

Now if they only would play Megalomenia, that would be awesome.

And yes, Sharon is a bitch, and yes, she actually kept Ozzy alive (sort of). I think everybody agrees on that.

Re: Laundromat fail

If you put a plastic bag around your kid's head, he/she is not going to die instantly, but it's still a much better choice to not put the plastic bag around your kid's fucking head. This incident might just be one isolated -albeit severe- error of judgment or could be proof that these people are fu...

Nobody mentioned Tame Impala?

Others: Sleepy Sun (great psychedelic band in the Pink Floyd/Jefferson Airplane vibe)

Re: Sell-Outs

They were a band. 4 people making the music. You take one person out of the equation, .... Well, you get my point. Same as with Led Zep and the Who. They stopped when they lost their drummer, because he was an equal part of the band. John also never wanted to take part in the Doors of the 21th centu...

Never really heard of Against Me either.

But I know that Keith Caputo (Life Of Agony) also changed gender.

I don't really understand what everyone's problem with Larry is? He's not really that more offensive than any other person on this board? :noclue: On the other hand, I found the donkey photo's and comments very funny. Like: Look Larry:your house. Then a photo of a donkey with lotsof shit on his back...

Old-school fans may despise the continued mellowing of the funk-punk pioneers on record.

That's spot on

it was ringo that quit the band first (he got up, said he quit a d walled out)...during the get back sessions...which later (after paul begged ringo to come back) turned into let it be. paul begged each ex beatle to reform the band right up till john was killed. all of them said "no". then when geo...

Re: Perry Farrell Is Doing Just Fine / Houston Press

But what if they put the famous person they attached themselves more at ease with himself, back on the right track. I have no idea what you're talking about. Perry was a junkie until he met Etty. He has been clean since. John turned into a peace lover when he met Yoko. He used his influence to infl...

Re: RHCP

My problem with this on Jane's related boards is that while I agree, I disagree I think they brought in Dave because they knew it would give them a creative kick, but I do not think that Anthony and Flea after the 96/97 time frame thought of him for more than a replacement, I believe that relapse e...

cue Rush's Witch Hunt The night is black, without a moon. The air is thick and still. The vigilantes gather on The lonely torchlit hill. I'm trying but there is no edit button (after a SHORT period of time) (one of my huge pet peeves with this site) I disagree with Etty and her role and yes, it was...

I've said this ten times over on this website. I agree with the OHM love over here! It's a great fucking album, the last great album they made. And I truly do believe RHCP and Dave were a match mad in heaven. Dave's guitar playing on OHM is absolutely stunning. Walkabout, Aeroplane, Warped, Coffee S...

When it came out, I thought there was something interesting in it. But I never felt comfortable with it. There is always a lack of something or a wrong choice. Thick fat songs. Boring. Finally my fav songs are probably Underground, End To The Lies and Irresistible Forces. I don't listen to it anymo...

The moral you should take away from this story is that San Diego is hardcore against Marijuana. All you other pot heads in CA should be grateful you don't live in this shithole, border town that is more conseravtive than Mitt Romney. umm...my guess is that they were more concerned with the 18,000 e...
