Bastards. Ocean Size would have been perfect. Ah well. Good for them. Thats a pretty decent set list. Replace BCS with something like Trip Away and itd be something special. Swap ANR with Ocean Size and replace ANR with Chip Away as the closer and it would be near perfect. Oh and seitch Ted with Then She Did. Okay Im done. :)

Actually yeah that's not too bad. that's about a 17 song set length-wise.

it is a little troubling that nothing else changed though. but that is kind of what we expect i guess.

yeah, i think rotating setlists is a little out of their league.

i was listening to kettle whistle and nothing's shocking today, and i had a dream that they would add City Song in the acoustic set. and i also remembered how much i love pigs in zen. it might be my favorite jane's song, but that changes with the day.

nice set. i wonder if they had a gear issue or a curfew issue or something on opening night. can't really see them ending with the new tune.
it's going to be essentially the same list every night. we know that so why bother bitching or bumming.
but i like it. i agree completely with hoka that replacing ANR with trip or chip and replacing ted with then she did would make it pretty close to ideal. but i do like what theyve done here. the similar format to relapse is nice. i know some would prefer not to have all the breaks and i agree that suggestion has merit but this format has served them well in the past. looking forward to wellmont. classic girl and i would for you and four new songs. was it reasonable to expect more?

of course this is all about the setlist. jury seems out on the performance and the lip synch thing isn't encouraging, but as i've said here many times, jane's generally brings their brand to the stage pretty well so i do think it'll be a fun night.

See, if we'd have had Ocean Size, I'd have been perfectly happy. The ending is what kind of killed my buzz. Oh well, that's what we get in STL for a lame crowd and the first tour date.

That's a good set list, but I hate words. I really hate that fucking song. I'm getting excited for the nj show hopefully they don't close with words.

someone on twitter thanked perry for playing Had A Dad. did they get songs mixed up or did they actually play that?

According to the other site, they played it backstage as a warm-up. Maybe it will make it's way into the set at some point. I seriously hope that songs like My Time, Pigs, Obvious, Of Course and No Ones Leaving get rotated in at some point... not to mention Chip and Trip.

That's half a set-list right there - they could easily make these gigs something special. Good start so far, i just hope this isn't the full quota already.

What makes you say that? I thought it was generally assumed that those guys got privileges for running that site. I'd slag on it but i'm only jealous... must be pretty cool seeing them jam in an intimate space.
