Just a much older band than the heyday one and minus their original songwriter/bassist.

crawfish is good...

but i'm sure there will be other food there also. how many miles is it from your house?

if its less than 20, and it only costs 30 dollars i would go.

A music and food festival sounds pretty fantastic. My favorite local events are Loufest Music Fest and the Taste of St. Louis festival. I would be pretty happy if they were merged.

Actually, a candid shot of Sonny shedding a tear of Joy during three days and staring at Etty would be as priceless as they come.

Hahaha, Sonny's going to be paranoid if he comes to the show now.

Although, looks like he has the chance for Jane's and Crawfish in his homeland now. Suckin' Heads Just Because, Sonny!

At this point, I'd probably go more for The Cult than Janes if this was local to me. What would be cool is if both The Cult and Janes were playing the same night but I bet that isn't the deal.

And who gets Megadeth on their night?

yeah, for $30 i just may try to get tickets. the cult is playing right before jane's addiction, so that just might make it worth it.

Both The Cult and Janes are playing on Friday, May 4th in Birmingham, and both are playing again on Saturday, May 5th at the Beale Street Festival.

I thought the same way until I had Oysters Rockefeller at some excellent restaurant in Maui. It was ....so... fucking ...gooooooooood! Too bad so few (actually, none so far) restaurants in SoCal can make them worth a squirt. There's a really thin line between The Food of the Gods and .... lumpy clam snot.

Shellfish is a culinary and fisheries term for exoskeleton-bearing aquatic invertebrates used as food, including various species of molluscs, crustaceans, and echinoderms.

The word oyster is used as a common name for a number of distinct groups of bivalve molluscs which live in marine or brackish habitats.
Molluscs, especially bivalves such as clams and mussels, have been an important food source since at least the advent of anatomically modern humans—and this has often resulted in over-fishing. Other commonly eaten molluscs include octopuses and squids, whelks, oysters, and scallops

Oysters are molluscs and shellfish.

Mollusc is a scientific term (a phylum, I believe). Shellfish is a culinary term for most edible stuff that comes from the ocean and that doesn't look like fish or algae.

Molluscs are considered IN the shellfish as a catagory
but a mollusc are a mollusc

And Lobsters, shrimp, crawfish & crabs are crustaceans

Shellfish is a catch all term for anything without gills & scales.

Trust the Gorton's Fisherman

It's sad the band has reduced us to debate the difference between crustaceans & molluscs instead of set lists
