Yeah I've heard USAians say "could care less" when they mean "couldn't" so often. what is that?

Idioms don't care about logic.

We also say 'I can hardly wait', 'head over heels' 'I should be so lucky' :noclue:

yeah but the divergence in that example must've happened at some point. I wonder why.

Oh... I didn't realize he had a platform outside of "Keep them out" "You're ugly and a loser" and "Trust me, I know how to get things done" :noclue:

Oh... I see that's still his positions on the issues.

this is the first election in a long time that i really don't like any of the candidates much at all. even the last few republican nominees i could of lived with being the president.

trump can get elected very easily if some of hillary's skeletons get exposed. i'm sure there are some.

Yeah, I know... it's a thing that happens. Especially idioms that have prepositions in them.. they get flipped or reversed to the point where they literally mean the opposite, or something orthogonal. But 'could care less' just bugs me... because it's not a problem with a preposition (like saying "stay where you're at" or the fucking cringeworthy "on accident") it's just a failure to say the contraction of the negation "not"... which is silly. Just say "couldn't"! It's what you mean!

I guess I've been marking too many papers recently... I'll try to ignore that shit in the future. :waits:

Cowardice

Are you serious?

Apologies for freedom, I can’t handle this.

When freedom rings, answer the call!

On your feet, stand up tall!

Freedom's on our shoulders, USA!

Enemies of freedom face the music, c'mon boys, take them down

President Donald Trump knows how to make America great

Deal from strength or get crushed every time

I noticed tonight while watching the GOP debate that Marco Rubio sounds like Ray from Girls. Does anybody else think so?

That backing track sounds SUSPICIOUSLY like a Perry/Etty collaboration.

Holy shit...that was mesmerizing......... :scared:

Ameritude! :lolol:

I couldn't figure out if that was a parody or not.

Between this video and what people said about that schoolyard scuffle, I mean debate, the other night, we now seem to be living in a cartoon. :drink:

I see Cruz winning Iowa, Trump has no organization there, and they love to pick the evangelical: Santorum, Huckabee, Bush.

I am actually thankful for the painfully long US election process. I suppose it just guarantees an insider, because people get bored and spooked by the agitator. Fine by me at this point. :noclue:

tame.....

 I was thinking the same thing! I can see Etty in one of those outfits too. Of course, her skirt would be much shorter.

I have a friend in Illinois who said

"If it's a choice of him, vs Hillary, he will win. That's how bad we don't want Hillary"

When I asked if it was because of her fucking useless husband he replied

"It's because she's a liar, and under investigation by the FBI"

It's not looking good is it?

That's ridiculous. Trump won't be the nominee. It will be close, but I have a suspicion that this is truly going to fracture the Republican Party. This isn't going to be a peaceful convention. Establishment white collar Republicans can't stand Trump and they don't like Cruz either. Maybe a third person will emerge, I thought it was going to be Rubio, but he's not gaining any popularity either. :noclue:

I have heard white collar Republicans say they would vote for Hillary instead of Trump due to the fact that Trump is a whack job. They would rather have somebody they really don't like rather than somebody they fear would actually destroy the country.

There is a minority (20-30%) of very vocal morons out there at the moment, they is no where near a majority.

Ask your friend who isn't a liar...... :noclue: :hehe:

I was wrong months ago when I said there was no way Trump would even make it to the first debate, but here we are...

Still, I have to think(hope) that having that moron Palin giving her endorsement to Trump will be the kiss of death, even moreso if he picks her as his running mate.

It floors me that my choice of the *viable* candidates is Angry Sanders.
