Re: Rock Art
I used to have a bunch of early/mid 80's posters from mostly punk bands and shows that I literally wall papered my old garage with. Most of them I trashed but I still have some rolled in a large mailer tube that I'll try to dig out. Back when I ran the graphics dept at a huge photo lab/printer in the late 90's, I used to make my own extremely large posters as demos for new kinds of large format print and lamination techniques. This one was about 3 or 4 feet wide by about 9 feet tall.

Re: Rock Art
I don't know if it counts as "rock art", but I took this off a wall after the show.
I wish I still had it.

Re: Rock Art
I have this rock lobster...not sure if it will count for this "rock art" thread.
It's a rockin' rock lobster sculpture made from lobster shells.

Re: Rock Art
That Pavement one is cool!
Re: Rock Art
This is from my favourite band The Charlatans. Every year in the UK we have a national book day and to coincide they decided to replicate their albums as classic UK book covers. I think there were only 500 of these printed and they are each signed at the top by the band. The new drummer signed just under the Modern Nature book as the original drummer Jon Brookes dies of brain cancer a few years ago.
Re: Rock Art
Those are the ones hanging in my 'music room'
Re: Rock Art
While the others were posters, this is a silkscreen, and is hanging in our living room
Re: Rock Art
This is my prize possession, an original 1967 silk screened Pink Floyd poster. Bought for some weed
Re: Rock Art
That was a lovely idea. The Peter and Jane book (Up at the lake) brought back childhood memories for me since I used those books to learn how to read.Bandit72 wrote:This is from my favourite band The Charlatans.
