Fleetwood Mac's Tusk is on pretty heavy rotation right now... Buckingham's songs on there are fantastic. For the simple fact that most of the songs are so "different" on that record, i'd probably put it just ahead of Rumours in order of preference.
Also been listening to an Irish guy called James Vincent McMorrow quite a bit... and i'm hoping to see Josh T Pearson in a couple of weeks so i'm listening to some of his stuff too.
"The conundrum facing an artist as profoundly influential as Bush is comes down to this: How do you keep putting out new music without being made to sound overly familiar by the cumulative output of your musical progeny? This lead single from her first album of new material in six years features vocals that are half sung, half spoken and delivered largely in the lower part of her range, and an arrangement that is uncharacteristically retro — you could imagine someone mashing this up with Fleetwood Mac's “Rhiannon.” In short, she doesn't sound like someone who's been influenced by Kate Bush. Got my physical copy today pretty good not going to lie. I was dissappointed since the last felt album dropped
I haven't bought a Murs album since Murray's Revenge but I did sample all of the songs off Love & Rockets vol. 1 and it does sound pretty damn good. I think I may have to pick this up!
