And people wonder why I have love/hate thing for this place.
You flip out when people don't like a band you enjoy, start calling women cunts and telling them how you wouldn't fuck them, have a meltdown, storm off for a few days, and then offer up some pseudo-apology and all is forgiven.
But OH NO! Here I come acting like a smart ass, defending my favorite band from a bunch of haters, get flamed on a personal level, and yet suddenly I'm the one with the disposition that's unpleasant.

european festivals have always seemed weird to me in that bands with artistic credibility are always billed together with MTV flavor of the month bands.creep wrote:i looked up biffy clyro. so this is biffy and he is headlining over nin? sounds about right.creep wrote:careful...by reporting news you might be labeled a "hater"farrellgirl99 wrote:Trent's having more promoter issues, this time with the Reading Festival.

are europeans that weird that they can really just go from listening to nin to biffy clyro?

Re: Eric leaves NIN or "the breakdown of nyrexall"
1. I like Biffy Clyro, but there is no way they should be headlining over anyone. They are opening for Muse in America but headlining over NIN in England? Makes no sense.
2. It was really annoying trying to wade through all the bullshit on the last 3-4 pages. If this is what it's like to try to read threads when I am arguing with someone, then I apologize to everyone on the board.

Her voice is sultry. So is she.
I don’t know what is sexier: the way she says “Oceans a-whoa-oh-oh” or when she says “I take the thought of you and burn it to the ground”

Gee, I wonder how long you had to sit there thinking up a retort before I posted it for you in another thread.

Just started listening to the tracks I hadn't heard yet. The end of "All Time Low" is awesomely pretty. Reminds me of Kraftwerk.

Yeah, well, as much as i enjoy the drama, my post count is too low to have myself participate in such affairs. I like my post count to be low.Tyler Durden wrote:This made me LOL. Just the timing of it. This thread is no longer about NIN.Matov wrote:BTW, album's leaked in full.

Definiteley the album doesn't sound neither stale, nor washed up... Its not a huge departure from his previous albums, except for Everything (which while i still applaud for being different, doesn't make much sense stylistically within the album), but it sounds fresh to me anyways.
I reckon Hoka won't fancy trent's "retarded-like" singing, but oh well.
Doesn't seem to me that Trent is anywhere near his decline.

I hear you. I'm still making my way through the album. "Various Methods of Escape" is cool.
EDIT: I'm also digging "I Would For You" and "In Two".
