Really? I hate it. I've not liked much of what they have done since OK Computer. At least Trumpton v the Wickerman distractss you from the music.

I actually like the new song. :thumb:

I can't help but hear Kate Bush all over this, starting with the birdsong, then the very similar bass line from Hounds Of Love, then the vague suggestion of the tune from Misty...doubt anybody else here agrees. Oh, and from around the 1:05 point, I think Thom Yorke really sounds like Jimmy Sommerville(Bronski Beat).

Here are the KB songs I was talking about:

Misty

Hounds of Love

I like it but find the stuff they've done since OK Computer to be able to be lumped in one category / genre ( no idea what to call it but it's all kinda samey samey ).. Keen for the new record.

Hahahahahahhaha

Yeah it has a lot of bleeps and boops. Ah well good on them for trying something different. Seems to be to the liking of a lot of people. I wonder if there's a radiohead version of this place?

new song/video is aweeeeeeeeeezome i love it.

rumor is they're going to be touring with a string section. I guess there are tweets from a violinist that collaborates with johnny for his film scores that show that he's rehearsing for a tour.

i'm excited.

I regret not getting a ticket now. Didn't they have a string section for KOL? I remember seeing a big band on stage.

New record comes out today no? I like they way they do this, potter away quietly and then BAM! out comes a new record. No hype, no months of BS talking, no "this is gonna be amazing, go viral"...

It's a masterpiece. It's quintessential Radiohead. I'm on my fourth listen through and still digesting it all.

I'd call it the "darkest/bleakest" Radiohead album. Thom's breakup with his girlfriend of 23 years is obviously a huge driver to the mood of the album. "True Love Waits" as the album closer brought tears to my eyes.

"Just don't leave"

"Don't leave"

"Don't leave"

The entire album and absurdly short supporting tour feels like Thom's "swan song" for Radiohead which I obviously hope isnt true.

They had the second drummer for King of Limbs. The guy from Portishead. He's confirmed that he's on this tour as well.

Some of the songs aren't new are they? Wasn't True Love Waits on that live thing they put out? and Identikit has been played live for a few years now too? Since 2012?
