Girls (HBO)
Re: Girls (HBO)
Even if I didn't do the virtual climb of the wall in the GOT exhibit, the wardrobe and weapons were great. You won't be disappointed creep.
Re: Girls (HBO)
i hope i get creep for the gift exchange this year. you know you want it.

Re: Girls (HBO)
well it's back...
i hope i can finally let go of this series this season and after the first episode i think i can do it unless it somehow gets interesting. bad start.
i think marnie singing is the new hannah getting naked. my new least favorite thing.

the only good part of this show is elijah. i would watch a spin off starring him.creep wrote:well it's back...

Re: Girls (HBO)
I can't believe I hated Adam. Wtf was he sad about Hannah leaving?
Re: Girls (HBO)
I think a lot of people like Elijah.
Re: Girls (HBO)
Tonight's episode was awful. The preview for next week seems better; the focus isn't on Hannah.
Re: Girls (HBO)
I have to say I'm liking it better than last season. But I don't want to jinx it.
Re: Girls (HBO)
I hated the first episode this season. Last night's episode was okay. I thought the dance scene at the party was pretty funny. And, is rent in Iowa really so cheap?
Re: Girls (HBO)
I know it was unbelievable, but I thought the bathroom scene with Elijah was very funny too

this might be it for me. the series just doesn't interest me at all anymore. i was able to give up true blood with no regrets. i find the new hbo series 'togetherness" much more interesting. it's not great but way better than this at least to me.
Re: Girls (HBO)
It's funny, but I'm more interested in the secondary characters...like Shosh's parents. I'm going to give it another try. I only missed a couple of episodes of TB, if I miss some of this one, I won't regret it either.
Re: Girls (HBO)
Based on the last episode, I wonder if Jessa and Adam are going to hook-up.
(I don't think the Iowa storyline is working.)

Re: Girls (HBO)
It fucking finally ended...raise your hands who made it until the end besides me.
I really hope it's over, please...

Re: Girls (HBO)
I suffered through to the end too. I was disappointed Elijah was not in the final episode at all.
I could have done without the weird home bathtub birthing. Thankfully, the show didn't go beyond what they did.
I don't know where this show can go from here. Will Shosh go to Japan? Marnie will get a lucky music break and disapper? God, I hope so. Marnie's character storyline is the worst for me. Will Ray really get into politics? Perhaps he will run for mayor?? Ray was good in the last episode. I think he scared off Desi.
Will Hannah continue teaching? I think she's done with Adam finally.
Jessa? I grew to dislike her too. I don't really care.
For me, this season was one of the worst.
I don't get why Hannah's father came out so late in the season. Seems like useless filler if the show is not going to continue.

Re: Girls (HBO)
For me the worst was Hannah refusing Adam, like are you fucking kidding me? I've ended liking almost no one this season. Yeah, I didn't get the coming out story either. But oh yes, I hope Marnie disappears too
Re: Girls (HBO)
i left after the first couple of episodes and have had no desire to watch the rest which i'm pretty proud of.

Re: Girls (HBO)
i actually thought this season was better than last season, but i still have so many problems with this show. the character development, or lack thereof, is awful. some things that drive me crazy: 1) marnie and jessa are both fucking terrible and no one likes them so it is totally unbelievable that anyone would even still be talking to them 2) jessa hasnt even had a storyline since last season with the old artist lady. she just floated this whole season and said terrible things to her "friends" who she hates and who hate her 3) why the fuck does ray like marnie so much? are we really supposed to believe ray of all people would love someone like marnie? i think its so unbelievable 4) what was the point of hannah going to iowa? 5) why did they throw in hannahs dad being gay and waste a whole episode on it? 6) are we supposed to believe fran would get with hannah after he appeared visibly disgusted by her the past few episodes?
ok ill stop lol
i still hate watch it though so ill be back next season

Re: Girls (HBO)
I agree completely with you (I will keep watching too, for some reason, I have to watch something I don't even like until the end)
The finale was the worst for me because it was written, directed and starred by Lena Dunham. I think she needs someone to smack her around and tell that she's not that great, in fact, that she sucks.
