Trent knows he doesn't bring the rock, so he is touring with bands (QOTSA/Soundgarden) who do.

I just zapped through about a minute of most of the new songs on HM...I think it all pretty much sucks now. :noclue: :scared: It's Trent's TGEA imo

Except....he likes Homme for some weird reason and respects him. As opposed to he and Cornell snipping one another in public like little bitches.

I think you get me wrong. HM is a lot better than TGEA, but if you compare it to Trent's golden period which to me is 89-99 it's extremely tame

TGEA > HM

Live instruments always win over "tap tap tap" drums and blips and bleeps.

Hence: "This is a Trent Reznor Song".

NIN & Soundgarden US Summer (mostly shed) Tour dates. Death Grips will also support on most dates. Interestingly, Tori Amos' drummer Matt Chamberlain will be subbing for Matt Cameron in Soundgarden. If it's a really slow concert season this Summer, maybe I'll check out the Irvine show but fuck the Hollywood Bowl date:

7/19* – Las Vegas, NV @ Planet Hollywood
7/21* – Denver, CO @ Red Rocks Amphitheatre
7/24 – Tinley Park, IL @ First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre
7/26* – Clarkston, MI @ DTE Energy Music Theatre
7/27 – Toronto, ON @ Molson Canadian Amphitheatre
7/29* – Mansfield, MA @ Xfinity Center
7/30* – Camden, NJ @ Susquehanna Bank Center
8/1* – Wantagh, NY @ Nikon at Jones Beach Theatre
8/2* – Holmdel, NJ @ PNC Bank Arts Center
8/4* – Bristow, VA @ Jiffy Lube Live
8/5* – Virginia Beach, VA @ Farm Bureau Live at Lakewood
8/7* – Charlotte, NC @ PNC Music Pavilion
8/8* – Atlanta, GA @ Aaron’s Amphitheatre at Lakewood
8/10* – West Palm Beach, FL @ Cruzan Amphitheatre
8/11* – Tampa, FL @ MidFlorida Credit Union

Agreed. If you haven't yet, you should check out the first album by Weapon of Choice (he was in the band for the first album) "Nut*Meg Sez Bozo The Town".

Also check out Critters Buggin, which is him, Brad Houser, Sherik, and Mike Dillon. Great stuff.

In case anyone is interested in getting a copy or just in the set list:

Torrent: 485819
Title: Nine Inch Nails Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne 15th March 2014
Size: 424.79 MB
Category: Hard Rock

Info hash: 7d8030995bd8a012ab3abd559fccf00eed0e7fb6

Description
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nine Inch Nails
Rod Laver Arena
Melbourne Saturday 15th March 2014

Recorded by Brother Ruprecht RHS of stage (as you look at it) Row H about 25m from stage corner

Equipment
Church Audio CA11 Cardioids > CA Battery box (Ugly) > Sony PCM M10A (Line in/ No Filter/ Pure audio)
Audacity used for track split and amplification
Flac files Md5 file and Torrent created by Traders Little Helper

Notes from Brother Ruprecht

Jesus these guys were on stage early - I'd barely had time to sit down when they came on (19:15) I didn't think
NIN got out of bed before 20:00

I've missed a couple of seconds at the start as the lights hadn't even gone down when they started and I had to make some
adjustments and with the gestapo everywhere near where I was sat I couldn't play around with levels etc.

There is a click you will here at around 33:28 into the recording - this is where I dropped the bloody PCM getting up to move for some late
arrival - the jack pulled out the sony and I lost about 5 seconds. I've cut out the horrible noise and spliced - it was in
a long electronicy sounding bit - doesn't spoil it.

Sound is really good - I'm very impressed with the CA mikes - really crisp and clear.

MD5 File in Torrent as well as here.
Enjoy
Brother Ruprecht

I bought tickets :noclue:

It's hard when you love early 90s music but were born in 91. Cause now I shell out money for tickets to stuff I wish I had seen twenty years ago. but whatever fuck it, i always wanted to see soundgarden and thisll be my 6th time seeing nails. itll be fun

growing up during that time i saw my share of bands but i never saw soundgarden or nirvana. probably the bands i have seen the most are faith no more and the deftones just because they played all of the time around here. as far as the bands not from this area i've probably seen janes and the cure the most.

It's a pity Cornell's voice is FUCKED. He's a shadow...much like Perry.
