as for me
Just a sampler of it but the 3 songs on here are kick ass
Re: Now Playing...
While not as great as it should have been it's right below the hype level and still a pretty good record, listened to it at the river and it kept it lively... of course I had to throw on some Op Ivy after because can't have that many people from the "scene" around and play too much hip hop

me too---thanks for the suggestion!ant wrote:

Downloading now on word of mouth.
I'm so bad with new music....the trigger must be pulled sometimes.

If its the Aloe Blac album it's pretty good music light and poppy but with a lot of soulSR wrote:Downloading now on word of mouth.

Yeah the other half has had it playing in her car for months but now she switched to "Watch The Throne" but she will go back to the Aloe cd, typically does.
Re: Now Playing...
Good for her. I can relate. I go on serious jags where I listen to one small grouping of music for months.Juana wrote:Yeah the other half has had it playing in her car for months but now she switched to "Watch The Throne" but she will go back to the Aloe cd, typically does.

Oh I do the same thing I have been back on a Hepcat and Lee Perry kick with some Lovage and Gogol Bordello mixed in for good measure.
But what I listen to pretty much every day is part of NS and Exodus/Kaya by Bob Marley.

Re: Now Playing...
Kinda P4P and Jane's related - listening to Mike Watt, Flea, and somebody named K, do this all-bass cover of BMSR's "Drippy Eye." Yup, that means every sound is made by a bass guitar:

Mike Watt is a BMSR fan, and has guested on an EP of theirs before. (Drippers EP, from 2008)

Yeah this album is still redic I also love Rock For Light, I wish they would remaster them and put the songs that were on Rock for Light on a remastered S/T album. But yes age is no excuse for sucking.kv wrote:that album just makes me hate current day jane's more..."they are just older now, they have evolved"Juana wrote:
