Heard this on the radio recently. One of those songs I've probably not listened too in about 15/20 years. Good album too.

Excited about this show tomorrow night! Loved AA when I was in high school but never saw any live shows. The current tour is the 35th anniversary of Kings of the Wild Frontier. The review from the Lincoln Theater in DC last week was excellent. The entire Kings album is played, plus 10 other songs and 3 encores.

Didn't his guitarist just die a day or so ago? I heard a week or two's worth of shows were being postponed... I'd check if your show's still a go or not.

She knows/posted about it... It's supposed to be their first show back

I loved Adam and the ants...I remember I'd check out Prince charming from my very hip local library in the early 80's all the time (my parents refused to buy me their records based on the covers and my mom would scoff every time I'd check it out..."you're getting that again?" Lol

Their tribal drums sound (along with siouxsie and the banshees and fun boy three) are what first caught my ear to Jane's

When I was 7 or 8, this track single handedly got me hooked on "rock".

This is really good. It reminds me of something like Autolux meets the Yeah Yeah Yeahs meets the White Stripes.

Classic Girl + Bjork + Bauhaus somehow.

The most frequent narrative about Buddy Guy and Junior Wells Play the Blues focuses on the album’s drawn-out recording process. Sessions in Miami in 1970 with the two Chicago-based artists yielded the bulk of the 10-song record, but it wasn’t until 1972 that two additional songs were recorded and the album finally released. The album features a unique mix of performers, even by blues album standards: the Miami recordings included a not-yet-unbearable Eric Clapton() , A.C Reed on sax and Dr. John on piano, while the pair of songs from 1972 were backed by the J. Geils Band, at this time primarily known for a cover version of the Valentinos’ “Looking for a Love.

Love this performance from 1984.

I laugh when people say Gary Numan rips off NIN.
