I seriously cant get over how much I like this.

It reminds me a LOT of how Dino Jr has evolved.

Its less messy and scrappy than their older material, but it still maintains a strong sense of who they always were.

ya but who fucking cares? we dig this who cares what others think or enjoy...like diabolik said .."this is how it is done"...nobody knew it was coming...blam!....first time i watched that video i got goosebumps...i love charles and am perfectly fine just seeing him solo...but he and joey...damn...first time i saw charles after the pixies broke up was at this little dinner club and he was solo but joey played some songs with him that night...and i always wished they'd just do it without kim...i feel no kim no pixies just like jane's sans avery....but it's pretty fucking good and a lot better then just charles solo...as for david he always plays straight forward.,...it works...i'm stoked...can't wait for a lot more as these guys are gonna crank shit out with kim out...here's to hoping kim does the same with the breeders

Had a listen. Then had another just to be sure. It did nothing for me. His voice always annoyed me on their past albums and this is no different. I just don't get the hype for these guys at all.

Look, it's cool if you don't dig it. But the quoted is pretty dumb. The "hype"? I think Pixies are well past the hype stage and have a firmly cemented legend status, like them or not.

I love the Pixies and saw them before their original breakup in '92. This song ("Indie Cindy") is way better than "Bag Boy"...I just have little to no desire for new Pixies music. For me, their four studio albums summed everything up.
