They did west coast(portland/seattle) as well as east coast for sol invictus.

Really hoping they do that again if there is a new album!

Yeh I've seen the odd "Oh if we record new music it'll be on our own terms when we have time..." etc...

So this is the surprise? :noclue:

I assume there will be more dates, but isn't this pretty anticlimactic for a big timer countdown??

Old guys are bad at social media.

I was reading the comments a few days ago and people were guessing new album, or a tour with Alice in Chains, and then they are like...

3 festivals in far away lands!

💩

I don't think they would come back if a new album wasn't coming. Roddy said that he has been going to SF to work on FNM stuff.

I'm excited that they are playing again. They could of easily of gone away forever. Hard to turn down the money though.

It's a fix. Tried to buy fan tickets - all gone after 1 minute and general sale - same. Spent two mornings with no tickets. So disappointed!

I got 3 tickets on O2 priority. I've seen loads of complaints about online touts cleaning up. You still going to try and get tickets? You're better off going on the night and you'll get one for less than cost price 15 mins before they come on. My mates did this for Muse not so long ago. Tout just wanted the money.

Actually really looking forward to it as it's at a small venue in Brum considering it's them.

Will have to say "hello" - am planning to be there.

Well done on the ticket situation - it was an indeed an utter mess, for me. Managed to get tickets for 2 of the three gigs I want to go to. Will have to scrounge for the 2nd Brixton night.

This is the correct ranking:
KFAD
Angel Dust
Album of the Year
Sol Invictus
The Real Thing
Chuck stuff

pretty good article. I still think a new album is coming.

https://www.kerrang.com/features/why-fa ... ONDMT-MzP0
When you returned last time, you said that you felt “dirty” playing only old songs, which led to the recording of Sol Invictus. Given this, can we expect a new album this time round?
“You know, there’s no plans right now to record any new music. There’s no plans at all. I think we’re all at an age, or at a time in our lives, where looking back at what we’ve done is a profound place to be. I’m super-proud of what we’ve done in a way that I haven’t been before. I think maybe some years ago it did feel a little bit dirty, like we were taking advantage of the world by just going out there and playing old songs, but for whatever reason I’m in a different place with that right now. I think our legacy speaks for itself in the way the world is right now. It’s refreshing and it’s appropriately provocative to throw ourselves into the world again. It’s a good example of eccentric leftism, if you will.”
