New David Byrne album coming soon.

This is the lead single " co-written with Brian Eno and featuring contributions from TTY, Happa Isaiah Barr, and Sampha"

I like the song but the vocals sound off to me. Auto-tune?

Hope his tour comes my way.

Last year I kind of got into Oasis a bit. I'm also quite liking Noels Who Built The Moon album especially this song.

Better late than never. The death of you and me is my favorite track by High flying birds.

Nice homage to Prince. This song reminds me a little of St Vincent.

I love this woman's voice.

It's probably too mellow for people's tastes here. After a jazz cigarette it's very nice.. :mediate:

If you've never listened to Beach House, here's your chance:

That's their latest song. They will be releasing an album this year and will probably tour the US and Mexico.

They are incredible.

Beach House is definitely one of my favourite 'current' bands, along with Animal Collective and probably Tame Impala.

Cool that he's playing the St Vincent guitar.

" Anyone who’s caught one of Jack White’s early shows behind Boarding House Reach may have noticed some new additions to his rig. Chief among them: St. Vincent’s Signature Ernie Ball guitar.

In a recent Rolling Stone cover story, White said he added Annie Clark’s sleek and angular guitar to his arsenal after abandoning his usual pawnshop instruments. He made the choice after hearing Eddie Van Halen designed his own custom model because he “wanted something that doesn’t fight me,” White explained. “If people only knew how hard it was on these shitty guitars… because I didn’t know!” White also appreciated the fact that Clark designed the guitar with the female body in mind. “I love that she was making a guitar for women,” he remarked."

Yes, I read that. He's a really interesting person. SPIN panned the album in a ranting article. That RS interview was facinating. Here it is for anyone who's interested...https://www.rollingstone.com/music/albu ... ry-w518260

I have no idea what they are singing, but I dig it.

I also enjoy this band, which I just learned about recently.

Took me about 4 or 5 listens but I love Ghost's new album. I found it really hard after the masterpiece that is Meliora, but now it's grown on me. I hear Van Halen, Scorpions, Yes, Maiden influences plus a load of other bands in the album. I hope they tour the UK again late/early next year, the set list is amazing.
