So not exactly content rich, but they're back for a few cash cow shows and the upcoming election. I follow Wilk on IG and he appears to post quasi emotional musings about Rage periodically.
Maybe if the revolution was on a weekend, I might consider it.

Ticket prices are absurd.

Apparently scalpers are already offering tix. Don’t think we’ll know until ratm.com goes live for sales, but they’ll be up there. The first 3 or 4 shows’ proceeds prior to Coachella are going to immigrant charities.
For the Toronto show, tickets start at $125(CAD). Mid-price must be about $250ish?? I'd love to see them again, but I don't want to pay that much. I guess RATM doesn't have anti-capitalist views when it come to ticket pricing.

Kind of why Tom Morello gives me douche chills these days. Like cut the act already man.

They are starting at $125 for all show I believe. So after fees, you're looking at $150 for nosebleeds.

The only ones it's not an act for are the people holed up in costa rica/cuba/mexico/belize and never heard from again....

Miss the days of seeing these guys opening for nobody's at the Roxy and Whiskey for free if you're over 21 and bought a drink or Zack's punk band "Inside Out" before that....I'm old...

Seems that the cheapest ticket is $190 and standing room floors for only $635.99.

Looked into this yesterday. Might go because I've never seen RATM (but have seen Morello), but I know the sound is going to be garbage up in the $190 seats.

A second date was added, guess there is a huge demand to see them.

I decided not to bother. The music hasn't really aged well, to be honest -- especially the lyrics. I don't want to see fifty-year olds screaming "Fuck you I won't do what you tell me!"... what? You won't go in the nursing home?

I can't say that I ever reach for a RATM tape or CD these days. I guess I had my time with that band and now they're in my musical past. In the 90s when I had a really stressful job, I played RATM and Metallica early in the morning while I was getting ready for work. I found that the music put me in fight mode to get me through the day.
If the tickets were in the $75 range, I would go.
Same. As it stands, these prices are obscene. It really taints my perception of them.
I'll take that same money and spend on a few other bands I haven't seen.
I was sooooo excited for this tour. Blah.

This is Morello's statement on tix. Is this untrue, or is it still too much for them to charge?
"The MOST expensive ticket for ANY Rage Against The Machine/Run the Jewels headline show is $125 US (plus service fees) with the exception of CHARITY tickets where 100% of the additional proceeds go to charity. ANY other ticket at ANY other price is from SCALPERS".

It's false in Canada even with the exchange rate.

The nonsectarian socialist likes money....
I would be curious to know if these increase fees goes to the workers supporting the shows, through more benevolent contracts and vendors. Or just the profit margins of the band. Charity is good, but more beneficial contracts for workers is even better.

It just kind of seems like this is the "Zack doesn't work, so he needs to make his next 10 years worth of house payments" tour.

$125 before fees is still a ridiculous amount to charge for nosebleeds. That's easily $150 after fees. For one seat. For two bands.
That is without a doubt the highest price I've ever seen charged for the worst seats at a big venue for a rock concert.
If I had to guess which band would have been the one to charge more than I've ever seen before it sure as shit would not have been Rage Against the Machine.
